My friend French chef put his own spin on it, and here's how he did it:br>He defrosted it quickly in a small toaster oven, then fried it in a frying pan with a few table spoons of good organic sunflower oil. He added a few spools of butter after the coating had become gorgeously crispy, sautéing them for a few minutes on medium heat before serving with greens and a scoop of fluffy mushed potatoes. br>br>We were pressed for time because the kids were waiting, so we used the toaster to defrost the toast, but this trick cut the cooking time to a bare minimum and ensured perfection. br>br>Butter makes all the difference in the world. It has a sole Meunière flavor to it. br>br>It tastes a little like a McDonald's fish fillet, but it's 1000 times better and healthier. br>br>We now have it every two weeks, and everyone is excited for fish dinner. br>br>For each person, one square is ideal; two squares is excessive. br>br>We didn't find any bones in ours, but we also don't trust fish. We simply respect the fact that any fillet or fish stake can conceal a bone.

I tried these in my fryer as well as the more expensive battered Cod fillets. The Cod fillets are overpriced for their poor quality, and they clog up my oil. These minced fish squares are actually a better value for money, and they fry cleaner and are less likely to burn. For a fryer, this is a much better deal. I am constantly on the lookout for high-quality pre-made garments. Because breading raw fish myself makes a mess, I bought it already breaded. These are probably just glorified fish sticks, but they're delicious. If you cook them properly, they have a good fish flaky texture, not mush paste like the cheapest products, and they're only $9. For 2 lbs. , it's 99 dollars. In my experience, they are a better buy than the more costly battered type. I've had a nicer, thicker battered Cod from Costco, but it's more expensive, and I've had the old fishy metallic type taste with those far too many times. These look a lot like M- Squares in the shape of Ds They're not quite as firm, and the center fish is a little more translucent, but they flake off and are solid.

Tastes great and cooks up crisply

The flavor of these fish squares is incredible. I baked them on a baking sheet with a few drops of evo on top. To make them crispy, I baked them for longer than recommended, but the fish inside remained juicy. However, keep in mind that each square contains 200 calories, so if you eat two of them, you'll have consumed 400 calories. I can't imagine these being deep fried, so I think the best way to prepare them is to bake them as directed. I'll repurchase these and serve them with a large salad or a variety of vegetables.

If properly prepared, this is a good dish

Here's what you need to know. This is excellent. You'll never respect a Filet-Mignon if you prepare it properly. (See what follows for more information. ) I'm not a big fan of fish. When I cook it, it gives off an unpleasant odor, and I despise fishy flavors. The flavor is light but rich, and it did not irritate the house. For us, they've become a new regular. br>br>I should have really taken pictures. I adapted what I read in another review. These are excellent. br>br> I'm not sure if they'd be better baked or air-fried, but they're delicious the way I made them. br>br>I defrosted them in an air fryer for about 7 minutes at 350 degrees. At the same time, I made five of them. I then used a mixture of olive oil and butter in a large frying pan. It is easier to avoid burning the butter by blending it. br>br>DO NOT use a high-powered burner. Reduce the heat to medium. Slowly melt the butter in the oil I've provided and bring to a boil. Defrost the fish squares and add them to the pan. Cook until they're golden brown. You've gone too far if you think to yourself, "Holy crap, that looks almost burned. " br>br>When they're done, transfer them to a plate lined with paper towels and set them aside to cool. br>br>Because I'm allergic to eggs, I make my own tartar sauce with Hellman's Vegan Mayo, a nice blend of sweet and dill relish, minced red onions, salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powders, a dash of white vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce. With a familiar bite on the back of my tongue, I experimented with the ingredients until I got the flavor I wanted. It appeared to be successful.

Pros:
- At $9 per bag, you get ten fillets. 99, and the fillets are of good size, with a good amount of fish chunks.
- These patties go well with the WF brand brioche buns. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product.
- These frozen fillets tasted good for the most part. I made my own slaw and tartar sauce and served it as a sandwich. However, near the end of the bag, I received a fillet that was so old and had such a foul fishy flavor that I would not consider purchasing again. 🤢.

This is a fantastic product for a protein-rich filler. I just finished one and it was so delicious that I had to write a review right away. I had one with some Samyang carbo chicken hot flavored ramen and ranch on the side, which I made in a cast iron skillet, which makes everything taste good, but I think you should watch the cook time so it doesn't get too crispy. I'd start by putting some olive oil and butter in the skillet, baking it for 12 minutes, then flipping it and cooking for another 12 minutes. Cook according to the package directions for a crispier texture. This does not have the fishy odor and instead smells like delicious fish sticks, but it is of higher quality. The very first - I finished every bite and will make my own filet o fish next time. It's definitely worth a go.

A little too dry for my tastes

I liked the idea of these (they were simple to make and inexpensive), but they didn't turn out to be as good as I had hoped. I followed the recipe to the letter and served them with tartar sauce, lettuce, and tomato on a wheat bun. Even with the tartar sauce, my husband and I both agreed that they were too dry. I'm going to try a white bun next time and add some lemon juice, in the hopes that it will improve them!.

In a hot oven for 22 minutes. However, as I chewed the fish, I was taken aback to discover that there were tiny, almost translucent bones in my mouth! I threw it up and examined it more closely. Bones, in fact! Bones from fish The good news is that this confirms that it is, in fact, a fish. Bad news? You could choke on a fish bone, get one stuck in your throat, or swallow one and lacerate your internal organs. Something to take into account. Keep your eyes on the prize.
