This is a treasure trove of information. After cooking, the tuna will be ready for a burger bun. There are numerous ways to spice it up and incorporate various types of vegetables. br>br>In response to the reviewer who stated that it tastes like cat food: I disagree, but it does have the texture of canned cat food if it isn't thoroughly cooked. Proper cooking of any seafood is critical, not only for taste but also for safety. br>br>I wish you could buy it by the pound and make your own patties (or meatballs, or party treats, etc. ) out of it.
It's terrible that I had to lie on my review in order to keep this gem to myself. Season to taste with old baby seasoning, then serve on a brioche bun with organic ketchup, tomatoes, and pickles. I sincerely hope that no one reads this. LOL.
It's as if you're eating cat food! Tuna is one of our favorite foods: We'll take grilled ahi any way we can! So we were really hoping that these would be a good product for late-night work. These burgers, on the other hand, were extremely stinky and tasted like they were made from the tuna's worst parts - the parts that are thrown away - and made a patty out of them. We threw both patties away because I'm guessing this is how cat food tastes. PS This is my first review, and I apologize if it was so negative because I know this organization employs many good people. Please accept my apologies, but these were awful to eat!.
I bought some on sale, and it's quite good. It's nothing more than tuna meat, herbs, and small vegetable chunks. I was anticipating some heavily breaded patties, but this is the real deal.
I make it on the stove with a little olive oil and serve it on a whole grain bun. There's no need for anything more.
This went above and beyond my expectations. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and I only wish there were more in the box. This worked well for me because I'm trying to eat less meat and only eat vegetables and seafood.
I was really looking forward to this, but it's just "meh. " Although it is a good-sized patty, it lacks flavor. I'm not sure if it's because the tuna isn't of good quality or because it freezes poorly. I don't think I'll buy it again because it had a mealy mouthfeel and a slight aftertaste.
The tuna burgers turned out to be fantastic. I'm all set to make another purchase.
