MILK and EGGS are present in this recipe. ain't trying to eat abused animal products and stolen mothers' milk, which causes orphaned baby cows to die. Thank you for your time. Animals should be revered rather than exploited.
People who say "it tastes like the real thing" have most likely not eaten meat since 2005. These, on the other hand, ARE DEFINITELY chicken nuggets in flavor. I don't usually do reviews, but these are so good that I had to get everyone on board.
I used to buy these on a regular basis and had never had an issue until a few months ago. I took a bite and had to spit it out because it had a strong chemical/cleaner flavor, so I threw the rest of the box away. The only thing that comes to mind is that they may have been improperly stored and defrosted prior to purchase, which caused them to spoil. I've been hesitant to buy them since then because I can't get rid of that horrible chemical taste, and while I usually enjoy Quorn products, there was clearly something wrong with this box.
All I can say is that if you're a vegetarian, these will make you forget about real nuggets. I make them in the air fryer and honestly, I don't notice a difference. Other nuggets have a weird little stripe consistency, but these don't. This is fantastic! I also have to say that of all the meatless meat substitutes available, Quorn has the best flavor. Soy has a distinct flavor that irritates me, but Quorn is not made of soy, so this is a significant difference. If you're serious about going meatless, I recommend trying all of Quorn's products to see the difference for yourself.
I reheated these in the microwave for about a minute to warm the middle (because they were frozen), then fried them in a pan with a little oil to crisp the outside; they were delicious in taste and texture. They crisp up like regular nuggets, and I can tell them apart from others. My kid, who also eats them, is the true arbiter. If properly prepared, these nuggets are better than McDonald's nuggets, and they don't require leaving the house.
I've eaten a lot of "meat and vegetable" meals over the years, and now I'm just left with a plate of vegetables. Something was missing, and I couldn't put my finger on it. Due to a history of breast cancer, I am also unable to consume any soy-based foods. As a result, Quorn's discovery was a boon! It tastes like chicken nuggets, but it's made with vegetables instead of chicken. The serving size is five, and they are very filling when served as part of a meal! I've located my meals once more!.
There was no flavor to these at all. They weren't good or bad; they just tasted like eating a bland substance. This is the type of food that will be served to you in a future Mars colony because it contains all of the nutrients you require, but additional flavoring would rot the food, so it will not be done. The texture wasn't bad, but there was no flavor to speak of in these. There was a smidgeon of it on the breading, but it's essentially unnoticeable. I've never had a vegetable chicken nugget that was as good as this one.
I suffer from a severe dairy allergy, and Amazon lists these alongside all of their vegan products. I should have bought a second pair of shoes. I should have double-checked the ingredients before ordering, but I didn't! They're now idling in my freezer, doing nothing. br>br>Also, I just looked up the information on these on Amazon, and while the ingredients list includes eggs, it does not include dairy (pic 2). However, "Milk Solids" is listed in the ingredients picture (pic 1) " If you make a mistake like this, Amazon, you could really hurt someone. br>br>And, in the case of Quorn, why would anyone interested in meatless nuggets want to purchase a product that contains cow's milk and eggs? It doesn't make any sense to me.
