These did not appeal to me in the least. Each sausage had large white fat globules inside, which I found disgusting, but the taste was strange as well. I've had my fair share of sausage, but this is unlike anything I've ever seen or tasted. I wanted to return it, but I had already cooked two and eaten only a few bites of each. As a result, the other two went into the trash with them.
It's too bad. The twin pack was purchased by me. It was a huge waste of money. br>Quality is terrible. There is a lot of fat. br>It even has a different flavor than the first pack I received. br>It doesn't even taste like the same brand. br>It's a disaster. THUMBS DOWN. br>Their quality quickly deteriorated. br>.
Exceptionally tasty! I thinly slice the casings, bake them on foil in the oven, and serve them as pork sliders on King Hawaiian bread rolls.
I ate it anyway, despite the texture being off. I ate it despite the taste being unpleasant. I can still taste it several hours after I ate it; I should have stopped eating it. I will never buy anything else.
I concur with the sentiments expressed by others - Large white fat gobs, coarsely ground I'm not going to purchase anything else.
This was fantastic! I like the flavor and the level of spice (it's a little spicy for those who can't take it). This week, I'm going to order it again!.
This isn't the real deal when it comes to andouille. It's best if you just accept it now and let go of your expectations. This is unremarkable and tastes like packaged supermarket sausages. Real andouille is thicker (by about 34 inches), smoked (for an unmistakable flavor boost), and seasoned much more. This is something we might serve at a nursing home in Cajun country and call andouille, but don't expect it to pass muster anywhere else.
With a well-balanced combination of salt, sugar, spices, and seasonings, the flavor was extremely delectable and delicate. I made other store-bought sausages the first time I tried them, and these sausages stood out as a winner with a slightly sweeter, delicate, and well-rounded flavor. It's the second time I've bought it.
