That's what struck me as odd as well. It isn't vegetarian in any way.
I'm not sure which one you're referring to, but the truffle mac and cheese is one of my favorites. one with cheese (which is DELICIOUS! ) weighs 8 ounces.

When I first received it, there was a slight odor, but I assumed it was just my imagination or that it would pass. So I put it in the microwave, which turned out to be a huge mistake. The odor worsened by a factor of 1000 until I had to stop it and throw it away. To get it to dissipate completely, I had to take it outside, turn on the fan, spray the room with a room spray, and cook something else. br>br>I'm not sure if I got a bad batch or what, but it smelled like a combination of rotting food and dirty gym socks. In any case, I have no desire to try it again and fill my kitchen with that dreadful odor. I'll stick to Kraft or Lean Cuisine, thank you very much.
The Smell has the same effect. This product has a TERRIFYING odor to it. It had a rotting odor to it. It smelled so bad that it made me want to throw up. I'm not exaggerating when I say this. This smell is far superior to that of overcooked broccoli. I tossed it in the trash and sprayed it with air freshener. I've never been so repulsed by a non-profit as I was by this one. I've never had an expired food product in my life, and I really wanted to like it. Truffle mac is one of my favorite dishes. But this was a disaster. I'm not sure why the reviews are so positive. Anything more than a single star is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
Notes on the general: They're a little pricey for the amount you get, but they're made with high-quality ingredients and provide ample calorie-free portions. For me, this is wise. Because my husband is the Resident Black Hole of our household, he usually eats them with something small, but they're fine for his lunch. br>br>Chipotle Chicken is my personal favorite! It tastes great. It's smoky and spicy, and thanks to the addition of lean protein, it's nice and filling. It's one of my favorite things to do. My husband enjoys it as well, so it's a win-win situation. I like that the chicken is of decent quality and that the breadcrumbs, despite being frozen, remain crisp. a rating of 5 starsbr>br>Smoked Gouda — delectable! It's simple, but it's effective. After it's been heated, it's time to add the smell. I'm not sure what's causing it, but it doesn't smell or taste like it should, so it's a strange experience. That being said, it tastes great, and if you like truffle oil, you'll love it. The strange odor goes away once you start eating it, so I'll still order it if it's the only one available. This one, too, has a nice breadcrumb topping. based on a 5-star rating.
The number of 4 and 5 drew me in, so I purchased it. the number of stars This, on the other hand, was a huge letdown. br>br>Gouda is a fudgy cheese with a sophisticated flavor that goes great with macaroni and cheese. br>How does one make a good smoked Gouda? by using hickory chips to smoke the cheese in a brick oven The smokiness isn't overpowering. br>br>However, if you look at the ingredients, you'll notice that "smoke flavor" was added to the cheese, and then "smoke flavor" was added to the dish as an ingredient! It's way too much! In fact, it was the dish's demise. br>The artificial smoke flavor in this is very strong, and it overpowers all other flavors. br>br>The pasta was undercooked (not even al dente), and had a slight 'eggy' smell that fresh pastas have. br>br>I was able to salvage this dish by adding half a cup of milk, some Truff sauce (and microwaving it for two minutes), and then baking it for a few minutes in the toaster oven. (If you want to tone down the smokey flavor, sprinkle some cheddar cheese on top. ) br>br>I'm not going to buy it again.
Oh my goodness, these are absolutely delectable! While a single serving size is technically sufficient for me to eat for dinner; You'll want to make two of them for yourself because they're so delicious. Whenever I finish one, I get into a schizophrenic debate with myself. "Don't do it, you'll gain weight" "Nah, I'll just exercise more tomorrow" "You know you're not doing that, don't eat it" "OK, then I'll eat nothing but salad tomorrow" "You won't do that either, get away from the freezer!" "But it's so good, I NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Oh, and there's a little panko dusting on these Truffle Parms that gets crispy in the microwave, which makes them even better!.
I have yet to find an Evol product that I do not enjoy; the quality is excellent. This was a little smaller than I expected, but it's so delicious and rich that it's satisfying, luxurious, and well worth it. I adore Stouffer's mac and cheese, which is my gold standard, and this version is just as rich and delicious. Pasta carbonara (fettucine pasta with cream, cheese, and bacon) is one of my favorite dishes, and this one is on par with restaurant-quality versions. I cooked it for a few minutes longer than the recipe called for, as I usually do with microwave pasta (it intensifies the flavors even more, and rice pasta can handle it). I prefer rice pasta to wheat pasta (firmer, more al dente), so I was overjoyed to discover this gluten-free option. a diet that is completely free! STRONGLY suggested.
The aroma of this cooking made me nauseous. It was necessary to Febreze both the kitchen and the living room. Still, I took it outside to my table and nibbled on it. I had to gargle with strong mouthwash to get rid of the taste, and despite the fact that I've been a vegetarian for over 30 years, my nose and mouth tell me this is not a vegetarian dish. It has a porky aroma to it. ugh, ugh, ugh, ugh, ugh, ugh, ugh, ugh, ugh, ugh, ugh, ugh I immediately proceeded to the garbage can. I'm going to request a reimbursement. I would have been disappointed with the pitifully small portion size if I had liked it; I loved their truffle parm mac n cheese, which is no longer available at Whole Foods.
