This is an unhealthy choice due to the salty processed food, but it tastes great. The price is half of what other brands charge. This is an outstanding choice, with the taste of real vegetables, meat, creamy chicken stock, and a FLAKY crust; yes, it's smaller than others, but it's a great snack.
The chicken pot pie was more work than pleasure for me, so I didn't finish it. Because my two-year-old loves pot pies, I ordered these after Marie's ran out. A MAJOR MISTAKE! I was awakened by my two-year-old chewing on a bone! After that, she only wanted the crust (which is bland and tastes like flour). Before I buy these again, I'm going to learn how to make my own pot pies. Even if the bones are ground up in chicken, my teeth won't chew them.
I've never bought a more revolting pot pie. The pungent chicken odor was revolting. Putting the pot pie aside, I didn't even eat it. It was thrown out right away. The meat didn't even appear to be tasty; instead, it appeared to be heavily grayed, squishy processed meat. If you want a better-tasting pie, spend a few dollars more and get Marie's.
The crust gets flaky when cooked in the microwave, and the chicken quality is about what you'd expect for $1. However, the flavor is excellent, and I intend to purchase a large quantity. These are great for a light lunch or dinner.
It's a classic that never gets old. In a pre-prepared meal, the best crust is ever created a dish.
Don't expect a five-star meal from these, but they're delicious and well worth the money. For a quick lunch, this is ideal.
The seasoning is spot on, and the vegetables sauce, meat, and crust are all well-balanced, making this a great comfort food option.
Pot pie fix: I adore pot pies and purchased a variety of flavors from Fresh to try. I cooked them in an air fryer. For the price, it's not too bad.
