I like the flavor, and I add pepper, but they heat up quickly, have a good sauce, and are surprisingly low in calories for the amount of food. I wish it didn't use so much plastic, but I'm not sure there is a better way. Meat retains its moisture and does not dry out. It never appears to be "full" of non-essential items. meat.
And I can't say the same for a lot of frozen microwave dinners. There are few calories, some crunchy vegetables, and little sodium or sugar in this dish. If I convince myself that I can, I can almost taste the merlot. It's a little bland, but anyone can season it with salt and pepper if they want.
