I like the flavor, and I add pepper, but they heat up quickly, have a good sauce, and are surprisingly low in calories for the amount of food. I wish it didn't use so much plastic, but I'm not sure there is a better way. Meat retains its moisture and does not dry out. It never appears to be "full" of non-essential items. meat.
And I can't say the same for a lot of frozen microwave dinners. There are few calories, some crunchy vegetables, and little sodium or sugar in this dish. If I convince myself that I can, I can almost taste the merlot. It's a little bland, but anyone can season it with salt and pepper if they want. Prior to heating, I take everything out of the plastic bowls. br>If the sauce needs to be heated separately, I simply pour it over the main course and cover it with a second layer of paper towels. there is no plastic coating- Heat it by placing a plate on top of it. It is effective and does not contaminate the food in any way.
It's convenient to keep a lunch in the freezer for days when I forget or don't have time to prepare one. It's tasty, and it'll keep you full for quite a while.
