On one of these, the roots would be the only wire that would arrive. All of the other curving wires have been removed.
If you're talking about the wires that keep it in the pot, no, you shouldn't remove them. They're there to keep the tree in place in the pot and prevent it from being moved.
The wires aren't there to hold the tree in place; they're there to keep it from falling over. Wire all bonsai into their containers.
That's correct. It's a fantastic Bonsai tree!

Another lovely tree from you guys; I've gotten three from you so far, but the Chinese elm is my favorite. All of the items were extremely well packed, and we arrived looking exactly as they did in the photos. Thank you, I'll only buy from you guys from now on.

It went above and beyond my expectations. I gave it as a gift to someone who has a lot of bonsais because it is in excellent shape and size. The quality of the product wowed them.
One of the main roots had snapped off, and two other main roots appeared to be dying when I received the elm. One thin root appears to be fine, and the branches appear to be alive, but all of the leaves are brittle. I wish it had been planted with more care to avoid root snapping. I'll let you know if it's still alive in two weeks.
The tree appears to be in good health, but the ceramic pot suffered significant damage during shipping.
No seeds sprouted when it arrived dead.
The bonsai arrived on time and in good condition, and it's a wonderful addition to my collection.
