Questions & Answers
The plant I got looks exactly like the one in the picture. Green Thumb was extremely accommodating, sending me an email to ensure that I was satisfied with the product.
Hello, Elise. My plant is similar in size to the one pictured, but I have one that has grown to be quite large due to repotting.
I'm not sure if I like mine.
Yes, Jades prefer desert climates; however, because they are succulents, they should not be exposed to extreme temperatures; however, they can be kept indoors or outdoors and moved around in pots. Overwatering, not underwatering, is what kills them the most, so if you have them outside in the heat, just add some extra water and place them somewhere where the water won't sit (planting in sand is best!).

Only two leaves fell from the plant, which had a strong stock. Given the long journey to Alaska, it was in reasonably good health. The leaves were wrinkled, and two of them had brown spots. The paper towel that was wrapped around the roots could have been wrapped in plastic as well, because it was completely dry. I didn't see the instructions that said to soak the roots first before planting, and I made a mistake! Also, because the plant was all flat on one side, it was a little difficult to plant it in the 6" pot. As a result, it became disproportionately heavy on one side, so I positioned the plant in the dirt sideways to counterbalance the weight of the top, which appeared to work. br>br>Apart from that, the plant was healthy, with a strong center stem and plenty of leaves. It didn't appear stringy or whispy, as it would if it grew in a dark environment. There were no pests that I could see, either. br>br>I used rooting powder on the only two leaves that fell during shipping and stuck them in the dirt sideways.
But, before we get to that, the plant stem is thick and hardy, with roots (not a fresh cutting), and small sprouts sprouting along the "trunk," and the existing branches are healthy and thriving. Now for the thoughtful part: this is clearly a cutting that has been given a good amount of time (at least several months) to establish roots, so that with a little care (Jade plants aren't picky, but don't over-water them), it can thrive. Watering and dappled sunlight are ideal)) and this plant will thrive and perform admirably. This isn't a cutting for which you're unsure whether or not it will root. This has already been established and was dug up for transportation. It was carefully (and deftly) wrapped, with a handwritten note from the seller detailing how to care for it. It was an excellent value for the money, and it made me smile! br>br>PS - If you are looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "innovative Put some stones/rocks around the base of your plant to support it until it has a full set of roots around it if you're having trouble keeping it stable until it has a full set of roots around it. Later, I'll try to remember to take a photo of this.
It arrived in a timely manner and in good condition. There were a few loose leaves and a few broken branches, but the seller communicated with me about my plant throughout its journey to me and offered tips and advice. But nothing serious enough to jeopardize the plant's health or quality. This photo was taken the day the plant was delivered, shortly after it had been potted. I'm looking forward to seeing how it develops and settles in! This jade plant is something I would recommend to anyone and would purchase again. In a few weeks, I'll upload more photos.
Delivery was very quick. br>I'm pleased with the plant in general. br>I'm hoping for the best in terms of living and growing. br> I'm hesitant because of previous failures with other sellers' plants. br> However, this is not the seller's problem. br>The plant arrived in a timely manner, in a large enough mailing box with ample space. It had a good-sized trunk and appeared to be in good health. br> I was watching a favorite show on PBS called Volunteer Gardner when I noticed Jade plants. "Jade by the door, poor no more," they said, referring to Jade plants. "br> This is just some "food for thought. ".
It arrived a lot sooner than I had anticipated. was well-packaged I look forward to many years of enjoyment from this plant! I will order from this seller again, as I am very pleased!.
When I first saw it, I thought it was a bit depressed. Maybe it's because it's a freshly cut shoot that isn't rooted (the description says it is, but that is a lie). The dimensions and thickness are ideal. I believe it will survive because it is a resilient species; the only thing I wish I had done was to get expedited shipping so it wouldn't be in a box for a week.
Because it was just placed inside a box wrapped in paper with roots covered with a slightly wet paper towel, the packaging isn't that great. The cutting is large and healthy, with strong roots and stems. According to the seller's instructions, I soaked the roots in water for an hour. I immediately planted it to avoid further damage to the plant. In about two days, it seemed to have perked up. Only 1- Two of the leaves had wrinkled and had fallen off. It now has such a lovely appearance! Love it! Thanks! This seller comes highly recommended by me. All they need to do now is improve the packaging.
The product is exactly what it says it is. A lovely, healthy jade plant was delivered to me. It was delivered quickly by the seller. We had a one-week delivery delay due to an unexpected winter storm, but the plant still looked great! I also appreciated the seller taking the time to scribble down some notes about the plant on a handwritten note. I'd buy from them again in a heartbeat.
