I was very pleased with how well packaged the product was when it arrived. Not a single flaw could be found on the air plants. During the winter months, I look forward to seeing how they grow. Although I am not certain if this is a qualifying purchase for the free 24 pack described in the product details that came with the air plants, I am 100% in favor of adoption and animal shelters. Since I was a child I have adopted five dogs, and also had two cats as soon as I could get my hands on them. As of now, the ones I have are members of my family and have been with us for years. Old Dog Haven, a Hospice home in Washington State, recently accepted an application from me regarding an old silky yorkie that needed a place to die in peace. Nevertheless, I was disappointed yesterday to learn that somebody else had applied for him before me. There is something about these pups that appeals to me, and I actually have a 16+ year old female that we have had for only a few She was suffering from many serious problems, and we spent a lot of money treating her. We had to remove her teeth and even both of her eyes. Besides being easily spoiled and loved beyond words, she is now our diva, and we couldn't imagine what life would be like without her. Pain is no longer a problem for her. There are so many topics I could talk about because it sounds like the owner of this online store feels the same way about animals as we do. Despite being a little damaged, these interesting plants are in good health. It's my first time having to work with air plants, so I don't know what to expect. Initially I was pleased with how fast all of them died, and what appeared to be a variety of colors (they were all green) made them seem like a great value. This was a gift for my wife because she is starting a collection of succulents and cacti that do not need as much attention. They did not include any instructions, and I was told by my wife that they only needed to be sprayed occasionally with water. Reading through some of the reviews from people who received instructions on how to care for these plants with their shipment, it seems that you should soak these plants in water after they are unpacked initially. In the absence of instructions, perhaps I would have gotten better results for my wife's plants. Despite reading the comments, only three of them are still alive as of this review, since 4 of them turned dark grey and dried out within a few days after receiving them. I soaked the three that seemed still viable in filtered water and let them air dry. There clearly appears to be mold within one of the largest plants, and the stems seem rather flimsy. It seems unlikely that they will make it either since the plant seems hanging by a thread. The price of $15 is equivalent to only 2 tiny viable plants. I definitely do not see the point.

As I live in a very cold climate, I had to purchase a misting bottle and fertilizer for them, since they were inside when I bought them. The summer will be the perfect time to hang them on my porch. Be careful not to overdo it You'll be able to grow them for a long time if you water them. The best buy you can find!.
