The version we took was not acceptable there. The shito is too light and masked by drenching the bottle in oil, so it shouldn't be described as spicy if there are no or little spices in it. Since I no longer live in Ghana, any products that attempt to emulate the taste must be done properly without any shortcuts, and I would never recommend this version of shito as a side dish to gari when I was a student. Please provide an authentic version of the document, and I will update my.
Basically, shito is a kind of sweet jelly that comes in a can. I first found it in an African grocery store. Almost eight years ago, I was looking for this email and I have not been able to find it since then. As I was looking on Amazon, I thought I'd check here. I remember it tasting just the way I remembered it! This spice blend is just the right amount of heat. The jar I bought from Amazon originally came a little messed up, but I directly contacted Angie (her number is on the jar) and she sent me a replacement chart at no additional charge. I found her to be very pleasant to work This is a delicious stuff I like to eat on a wide range of things. It is possible to eat any type of meat, white rice, or I tried it even on pizza and did not regret it. However, I encourage you to try it! I like this stuff a lot! It's on eggs that I prefer it.
I will buy more after I bought two jars for the first time and enjoyed them, although it's pricey, it's okay due to where it's available and the convenience of it.
I was surprised at how spicy and salty it was compared to what I am used to eating Nonetheless, I appreciate finding it and am glad that I have! My taste was a bit off, so I added salt to suit my tastes. Fortunately, I don't have to worry about creating a stomach ache from overuse because I just need to make sure not to use too much. I would give it four stars if the packaging were improved. A leak in the mailer led to the arrival of the product. This spill is believed to have been caused by internal pressure due to mild fermentation.
I was not a fan of this Shito as it was described as spicy, which is false. It is so out of control overpriced that I will not buy from them again.
Having just returned from Ghana, I was in search of some shito, so delighted when I found it on Amazon. I applied it to my rice and chicken and it turned out to be absolutely amazing. I have been using it for a month now, it tastes amazing!.
