I really like their pickled carrots, but I found the pickled okra to be pithy and hard to eat; the flavor was good, but it was too difficult to eat.

Okra is one of my favorite vegetables. Pickled, fried, and cooked in Indian cuisine. For as long as I can remember, I've been eating Talk O Texas. I experimented with other brands and discovered that their seasoning was unique (which is a good thing). Variety is good, but the food isn't particularly delicious. Some of the other brands were mushy as well, which I dislike in pickles. br>br>I tried Pacific Pickle Works because I had previously tried and enjoyed their Asparagus and thought it would be worth a try. This is the best okra pickle I've ever had. The spices and pickling additions give the okra a rich, layered flavor, and the okra is crisp and fresh. The cost is slightly higher than the regular supermarket brands, but it is well worth it. Like many other foods (smoked oysters, pasta sauce, etc. ), I'll gladly pay more for a superior product, and pickled okra is no exception.
**Updating a previous review** I had a problem with my order, but Pacific Pickle Works contacted me right away and worked with me to resolve the problem! I gave it four stars because the flavor is good but not my favorite, but it is one of the cleanest pickled okra options I've found, so I'd buy it again. I'm definitely going to try some of their other products as well!.
The crunch is fantastic, and the flavor is light and refreshing. I'm excited to try some of their other products.
It's a good-tasting product, but it's a bit on the pricey side.
The onion flavor was just right, with just the right amount of vinegar. It was fun.
It tastes like a little bit of summer, and my grandmother put it all in jars. br>br>This is the first time I've tried canned or jarred okra. When my family and I were at a pumpkin farm, we became hungry and came across these on the store shelves. Crackers, cheese, and salami were served alongside them. I was surprised to see jalapeos and chiles in the ingredients because the spice level is low. They have a very fresh flavor and a crisp texture. These are definitely going on my shopping list for future picnics and charcuterie plates. br>br>The label also recommends dipping them in flour and frying them, which sounds delicious and something I'll try.
