Silk Pure Almond Drink will last almost seven weeks without refrigeration. When you receive something through the mail, you need to take note of that. This particular product is not provided in a retirement community I am a part of. It must remain refrigerated once it has been refrigerated. Even though it costs more, it tastes the same and there is no difference in quality more to keep my trips to a minimum (I can be an impulse shopper, so the extra $$ spent may save me more in the long run! It's hilarious, lol.
My daily morning smoothie used to be made at work before the end of the world. would mix all of this milk together once it was delivered to me. I enjoyed it very much. The smoothies that I used to eat are gone.
One gripe I have about it is the price. That's not a fault of Amazon, though. There are relatively few of them. If you're ever in need of a snack, this stuff tastes great. Almonds were the only way to go for me because, as far as I can tell, I have a little lactose intolerance. The morning cereal I ate never seemed to make me feel right. Now that I don't drink milk in the morning, I'm looking forward to it. The stuff even works well as a cooking ingredient. I subscribed and saved this item for the first time. It's gotta be yours!.
Since it does not contain lactose or chemicals, it is a better alternative to cow's milk and can be used for anything cow's milk is used for.
Cereals are alike to him and he doesn't know the difference. Extras in the pantry are great since I can have them whenever I want.
The price for mine was good and I really like the product for keeping on hand. When I was sick and couldn't go out to get some milk- I used this As I pulled it off the shelf to serve with my oatmeal this winter, it was chilling. It is not a drink for me I would only recommend cereal (with cinnamon and raisins) or cold rice. The product is perfect for any recipe as it is low in calories and high in calcium, so I have to keep it in my pantry at all times now. It was a whim that originally led me to buy it. Also, this may be a good choice for camping with children since it does not require refrigeration until it is.
