It looks and tastes fantastic, in my opinion. To be honest, I've never had a fair life, but milk has never rated differently between brands for me. I buy it because it's lactose-free, which makes it easier for my daughter and me to eat. Since switching to this brand, I have had no problems, and I would recommend it.
I found the ultra to be quite watery.
Yes, it's milk, and it, like all other milk, must be kept refrigerated. The shelf life is calculated based on the assumption that it will be refrigerated. The shelf life varies, and the carton has a date on it that should not be used after that date.
It's something I'd never considered before. My criterion is the taste of milk. There hasn't been any issues so far.

I finally broke free from my decades-long denial and admitted to myself that dumping whole milk or cream into my coffee every morning is not a healthy way to start the day for my digestive system. Because I'm allergic to nuts, I can't drink almond milk, soy milk, or oat milk, and coconut milk has no place near coffee. My life has changed since I began using lactose-free milk. It's not quite as good as whole milk, but it's a step up from skim.
This is the best lactose-free milk I've ever tasted. Lactaid isn't my favorite because it's too sweet for me, but this is tasty. Although I am not lactose intolerant, my mother is, and I dislike having to buy two types of milk, so this is ideal.
There is no stomach upset, and it is absolutely delicious.
