It says on the package that it is Made in USA, but it does not mention that the eggs are produced there. There are no eggs in it, according to my understanding. In the same way that brown sugar cooks, it produces a brown solution. If you don't want sugar gravy, it's not a good product anymore, except in the past.

There is a lot of upheaval in my life right now! In addition to 3 packages of Soulmate Organic Whole Egg Powder I bought, I also bought a box of Spectra's Optimum Medicated Liquid Vitamin C. The fact that I tried a few before ordering more was a blessing. When I got the powder, I wondered why it was tan rather than yellow like I used to get with my previous brands. It looks like sawdust and smells similar to it. It breaks down into a brown soup. There are plenty of more reputable brands offering egg products that this one cannot even compete with, and I am doubtful that it can be trusted.
It's great stuff, I really love it. It is a problem for both my twins that eggs are allergic to. To help build their tolerance, we were told to give them baked goods with eggs in it several times a week. The powdered eggs work just as well, even though they still break out with The fact that these are organic is also a plus. Powdered eggs in organic form are very hard to come by. Mix it immediately once you have added powder to your drink mixture so that the powder does not clot.
Unlike eggs, this does not taste like them. It is unfortunate that I did not read reviews before making an informed purchasing decision. When water is added to it, it does NOT turn into anything resembling eggs. I am not sure what to do with it as there are no instructions on the bag for how to use it, as when you add water it just becomes some brown liquid that doesn't thicken up at all when heated, and won't turn into anything. This is a nasty bug.
