It's been a while since we've bought string cheese, and two packages have been Our family has been buying it from the store for years and have never experienced any difficulties. Both of the last two packages were rotten, when we threw away the first one we assumed it was a fluke, it does happen. Next, we found that a package had good and bad items, and we checked the expiration date and found that the package was two months old.
The cheese from this package tasted as if it had been returned by someone, it had been left out of the refrigerator, the taste was Despite the fact that I ate just 2 bites of one stick, I threw it all away. Spending money on the wrong thing. For a good chunk of the evening, I felt like I had cramps in my stomach. My next purchase will not be this one.
There have now been multiple bags of these that have gone bad. Unlike Amazon, it's not available on Amazon. com. These were not expired and we got them from a different store last time. It's worth the risk even if they turn out good sometimes, but it's not worth it when half of them turn out awful. In addition, the bags are sour in different ways some are chewy and dry, while others are strangely sour. There was one straw that tasted like dirt at the end.
Wowzers! I am beyond impressed with these, especially since I am used to the waxy processed ones. There is a milky sweetness to the taste, as well as a nice saltiness that doesn't overwhelm. The low carbohydrate nature of this snack makes it ideal for those on a low carb diet.

These and Sargento's cheese sticks are both good, but the Frigio's cheese sticks are by far the kids' favorite! The Sargento's were so popular that even after the much larger two packs of Frigio's had been gone for some time our family was left with only the Sargento's. The Sargento's are still in my possession, and I'm in the middle of buying two more packs. As far as I know, I will eat them.
Sometimes, String Cheese from the cheapest store has a strange aroma or flavor, or the cheese may not be as stringy as you would expect. The cheese I received was exactly what I had hoped Fresh and filled with that perfect balance of salty tang, it makes a great snack while you're on the go, and is stringy and perfectly flavored.
In the past, my only purpose for becoming a member of Costco was to buy bulk string cheese and salads. However, Amazon Fresh is now offering it, so I won't need to go to Costco for that.
