This cheese was first introduced to me during a trip to Sweden in the 1970s (where I spent the summer). Murray's Cheese in New York City sells it, but I don't live there any longer. The ice had already melted when I arrived. Thankfully, it did not melt. It is unlike other cheeses, so if you haven't had it before, you should try it at Murray's if you have the opportunity:.
For a single person, it only lasts a few days, and for a group of people, it lasts about a day. I haven't had this in decades, but the flavor is unmistakably the same as it was when I was a kid.
You can't get enough of it, unlike any other food I've ever tasted. Consider it for a moment. cheese that has been caramelized? UMMMM.
This cheese is absolutely delicious. My family is Norwegian, so I grew up with it. On waffles, it's a dream come true. Please continue to sell it.
WHY CAN'T I FIND BROWN CHEESE EVERYWHERE? This is the queen of cheeses, if you haven't tried it yet. This creamy, melt-in-your-mouth treat, which is both savory and sweet, should be enjoyed on a regular basis.
It makes a subtle tasty difference in bran muffins, which I use. The texture is temperature-sensitive. depending on It doesn't clump when I first start grating it, but as the block warms up, it becomes stickier. It makes delicious muffins in any case! Caramel flavor with a hint of sweetness!.
I HATE it the first time I tried it, the second time I tried it, and the third time I tried it, I HATE it even more. I was adamant about giving it a fair shot! So on the fourth day, I tried it and fell in love with it! It's definitely an acquired taste, but if I had to describe it, it tastes like goat cheese rather than sweet caramel. Definitely give it a shot!.
