Selected User Reviews For Amazon Brand - Happy Belly Sliced Sharp Cheddar, 10 Slices, 8 Ounce
These are thick slices that crumble in a "real-life" manner. Not in a "super-cheese" way, but in a "cheese" kind of way. "Cheese-like" texture that's easy to work with. in a way that says "product. " All of my recent Happy Belly dairy purchases have been a success, including: Sour cream, shredded cheese, and sliced cheese are among the ingredients in this dish. Amazon- The quality of owned brands continues to improve. I end up with high-quality products delivered to my door at a lower cost than my local Safeway in San Francisco. Great!.
The product has been tainted in some way. The cheese was green with a lot of moho, which was probably due to the humidity from being frozen after being unfrozen. It's incredible!.
The most recent order was placed on the 16th of July, 2020. I was about to make a sandwich when I noticed that the bread had gone moldy. It is still sealed, as you can see. The quality of previous orders has been outstanding. Typically a tasty cheese with just the right thickness for grilled cheese sandwiches.
As a feral male, I practically live on sandwiches, so I keep sharp cheddar, swiss, and pepper jack on hand. I find HB to be on par with the more expensive'sandwich grade' cheeses at a fraction of the cost; do yourself a favor and give it a try.
I'm from the Pacific Northwest, so I'm used to Tillamook Cheddar's distinct flavor. That being said, I found this to be too bland for my tastes; it reminds me of Sargento, which I avoid. br>br>It resulted in some tasty chees burgers, but it left sandwiches thin and flavorless. Sure, size matters, but so does thickness.
I opened a brand new package only to find mold spots all over the product. Since I bought several packages because expiration dates on cheese slices are so far out, it was past the return date, and I am out the money I spent on this.
I usually enjoy this cheese, but despite the fact that the expiration or "best by" date is months away, I opened it two days after it arrived and discovered a thin line of mold around all of the edges. I'm not interested in driving to Whole Foods and waiting in line for a "return," so I guess I'm out of luck.
br>Even a Cheese samitch has little to no flavor. Charly, I'm not going to buy from you again!.
