It is all tasteless. In spite of the reviews, I was hesitant to believe them. Regardless of how it is made, cheese will taste like cheese no matter what. When you chew like this, it's like eating plastic.
I had no choice but to buy this cheese since I couldn't get the sergeant In comparison with either, this isn't even close. The provolone does not have any smoke taste to it, I do not taste any other flavor than a generic no name white cheese. I think I can mix extra sharp cheddar with the cream cheese to make mac and cheese, it may blend right in and won't make it look icy. Each person has different tastes, and to me, this isn't one of my tastes. This blend of cheeses has no taste of italy at all, and does not have any flavour at all.
