It has a crispy flaky texture that must be tasted to be believed, and the amount of honey is just right. This is the only brand I've ever tried, but I'm not sure I've ever enjoyed a sweet snack as much as this one, and my entire family agrees. It's breathtaking, to put it mildly. It's impossible to believe unless you try it for yourself. This is a product that I would recommend to anyone. It is physically impossible for a human being to dislike this flavor. I'm a huge fan of middle-aged women. Desserts from the east include.
Pros: Honey flavorbr> Perfect texture that melts in your mouth, crisps that turn into a light cream, good ingredients, and minimal packaging that keeps the product fresh. br>Cons: The taste varied from bite to bite; the good bites were classic halva with a nicely balanced toastieness with sweetness and a slight bitter aftertaste; the not so good bites were very bitter and the flavor caught in my throat as if I needed to cough; the not so good bites were very bitter and the flavor caught in my throat as if I needed to cough; the not so good bites were very bitter and the flavor caught in my throat as if I needed to cough; the not so good br>br>To summarize: br>This is a high-quality product that appears to be well-made. Perhaps a batch of sesame seeds were overtoasted, or the soapwort in my batch wasn't evenly mixed. These occurrences are not uncommon.
(I tried making it myself and, while it tasted good, I couldn't replicate the texture I remembered from my childhood. ) ) I'm grateful that this product exists for those of us who are following the SC Diet and require a sweet treat. a tasty and nutritious treat.
After that, there were a few orders. Some batches are good and flaky, as they should be, while others are too hard and not flaky, which I dislike. I grew up in Europe eating halva, which was cut from large blocks back then. Organic ingredients appeal to me, and I would never eat conventionally produced food that contains unnecessary additives. I only wish the texture was flaky all of the time, but it was hard most of the time.
This halva is my absolute favorite. Over the course of 65 years, I've eaten halva all over the world and this is the best I've ever tasted. My favorite is the expresso, which I order in quantities of 20 or more. I love it so much that I buy three packs at a time. I have yet to meet someone who does not enjoy it, and I often give it as a gift because I am so passionate about it.
Halvah made with honey that is also organic is difficult to come by. The quest had begun after I had given up white sugar. This Halvah has everything a dessert should have. It's decadently rich, with the perfect balance of flaky and chewy texture that you'd expect from Halvah. My only criticism is that all varieties of Halvah are high in calories. The good news is that it is possible to be wise in this situation. It only takes a little to make a big difference! Enjoy!.
When I tell people it only has two ingredients, they say, "Let me look at that," and grab the package. It turns out to be correct. It IS possible to make a delectable dessert with only two healthy ingredients!.
I tried the plain/regular and the espresso, and I really liked the texture and flavor. I'm waiting to hear back because the almond arrived damaged/open (no obvious way to request a partial refund, though I left a message somewhere). I also discovered that they have their own website, so I placed bulk orders with them directly. The price is lower, but there is a shipping charge. As a SCD dieter, I'm overjoyed to have discovered this ostensibly "legal" treat that I didn't have to prepare myself! I plan to sample a variety of their baked goods as well as their pasta (lentil orzo!). ) too. It's impossible for me to express how thrilling this is. Each flavor I tried was unique in its own way, and I thoroughly enjoyed them all. sesame-flavored flaky pastry oily with a hint of sweetness. And don't forget about the espresso! Amazing. I'm really looking forward to trying the almond.
