It's pricey, but I'm not aware of anything else with similar properties. It also reminds me of the old-fashioned way of making it. In Chicago, rice is pounded with a large wooden mallet in a large wooden tub.

This Mochi is my favorite over the more well-known brand because it has a smoother and softer texture when cooked. Also, I don't know if it's just me, but the other brand has a peculiar odor. However, it is a lot more costly. This is a high-quality mochi if you're willing to pay a little more.
When stuffed with Ube jam and puffed in peanut oil, they're delicious. This is the best mochi I've ever had!.
I was sent a product that was due to expire in May of this year. This is my favorite product on Amazon, and I believe it is the best mochi available. However, the product I received had passed its expiration date in May of this year.
Toss them in the toaster oven and watch them grow and explode into a delicious Asian Rice Cracker flavor, then top with nori and soyu. Crispy, chewy, healthy, and a lot of fun for the whole family. We turn it into a family Asian night, complete with sushi and other Asian dishes.
