They have a great crunch to them. The sticky rice in these is not glutenous, as it is labeled as glutenous rice, but there is no gluten in this A sticky rice is just another name for glutinous rice. * Please believe me when I say that sticky rices are delicious. In the past, I used to eat them during long plane rides, but due to the pandemic I realized how good they actually are when I eat them while sitting on my couch. There is one problem they are made with palm oil, which is the worst type of oil to put into In other words, these will make you gain weight in a BIG way! There is yet another con, they are triple the price when purchased online! When purchased at Trader Joe's, they are only a few bucks per The TJ's I visited recently didn't have them discontinued! I asked about them and they weren't! I am happy to report good The next time I buy, I will get ten or more bags (they don't just keep for two weeks in the cabinet, they stay fresh for months).
Though the product is overpriced, I live nearly an hour from the nearest Trader Joe's, and the time and money it will take me to travel there and back do not make sense. I'm giving it 5 stars for this reason. Visit a Trader Joe's to buy this product if you are near this store. Compared to what is being charged on his site, it is much cheaper.
I became addicted to them after he suggested them as a tasty but expensive treat before bedtime. They used to be at Trader Joe's, but last time I went, they didn't have them. Although I love these so much, I simply cannot afford to eat them anymore.
It's impossible not to be addicted to these mochi snacks! After purchasing the three bag bundle, it seemed like there was still a shortage. During the last bag fight, my husband and I got into a heated argument. I love it! There is no substitute for the buttery, salty flavor of this cookie. This is the first snack that I have ever come across The next time we buy this, we will buy it.
I made a rating of "softened," and yeah, it isn't supposed to be soft. These are great simply as a salty snack or as croutons in a salad or even a toast for soup or eggs because of their saltiness.
As a result, you are unaware that it has palm oil on the ingredient list.
This is a great snack that I have been in love with for at least three TJ's has stopped carrying them and has brought in a version that is ridiculously spicy instead. I loved the taste and texture of this snack, as well as how it's gluten-free.
It would be nice to have a box for protection at this price point. There are no problems with breaking these nuggets up in this kind of packaging.
