They're made with sticky rice and labeled as "glutenous rice," but they don't contain any gluten. Glutenous rice is simply another name for sticky rice. br>I can't express how delicious they are. I used to enjoy them on long plane rides, but it wasn't until the pandemic that I realized how delicious they are when eaten on my couch. One issue is that they are made with palm oil, which is one of the worst oils to consume. As a result, these will cause you to gain a significant amount of weight. Another disadvantage is that they are three times the price online when they are in stock at Trader Joes, where they are only a few dollars per bag. I recently inquired at my local TJ's about whether or not they were still available, and they aren't! br>Exciting information! The next time I buy, I'll buy ten bags because they keep for months in the cabinet. br>They're that good.
OMG! If you haven't tried this product before, I strongly advise you to do so. OMG! They're incredibly tasty and addictive. The product is overpriced, but I live nearly an hour away from the nearest Trader Joe's, so the money I'd spend on gas to get there and back doesn't make sense, which is why I gave it 5 stars. If you live near a Trader Joe's, you can purchase this item there. It's a lot less expensive than what he's charging on his website.
They used to be at Trader Joe's, but they were gone the last time I went. But, as much as I enjoy them, I simply cannot afford to eat them at this price.
These mochi snacks are hard to stop eating! Even though we bought the three-bag bundle, it didn't seem to be enough. The last bag was a battle between my husband and me. LOL! It has a buttery, salty, and entirely unique flavor. It's the only snack I've ever seen that compares. This is something we'll buy again.
It caused me to give it a softened rating; it isn't soft, but it isn't supposed to be. br>br>These are delicious on their own as a salty snack, as croutons in salads, or even as "toast" for soups or eggs.
I wish there was an ingredient list because it contains palm oil, which you might not be aware of.
This is a fantastic snack that I've been enjoying for at least three years. TJs no longer carries them and has replaced them with a version that is far more spicy. br>br>Excellent snack with a great flavor, good crunch, and no gluten.
Since there is no Trader Joe's where I live, this is the next best thing, but it is EXPENSIVE. I received these from two friends this past Christmas, and they are crunchy and addictive. They're so tasty and crisp that it's difficult to stop nibbling on them.
