Questions & Answers

What is the total number of items?

To be honest, Tom, I've never counted them, so I'm not sure. Here's what I can tell you: I used to order root beer candies from Amazon under the IBC brand. com. For around $38, I got a five-pound bag. The individual pieces of candy were extremely difficult to remove from the wrapper, so I looked for a different brand. I came across Dad's root beer candy at that point. I spent about $15 on a four-pound bag of candy with this candy. The pieces are larger and come in a small packet that you tear open from the top to open. It's a breeze to remove the pieces from the wrapper. In addition, I've discovered that the Dad's root beer tastes significantly better than the IBC 5 pound bag that I previously purchased. I hope you find this response to be useful. I can confidently state that I will buy another bag.

Are these free of gluten and dairy?

I'm not sure what I'm saying. " Individually wrapped," according to another Amazon brand. Gluten-free and Kosher. Milk, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, wheat, and other allergens may be present in the repackaging facility. ”.

Where do these sweets come from?

I'm not sure what I'm saying. Sorry, but Dad's Root Beer is owned by Hedinger LLC, which is based in Atlanta, Georgia. You could get in touch with them and inquire.

Is it necessary to have a large number of root beer barrels on hand? Now is the time to look! So, you can disregard everyone who complains about the flavor or whatever
5/5

Maybe they ate wallpaper paste as a kid and have no idea what they're missing out on, because these root beer barrels are delicious. br>br>I work in a factory with more than 50 employees, and I purchased these for our communal candy jar. Actually, there are a few candy jars because, after working in a factory all day, you might as well have some candy. Let me tell you something: these root beer barrels are a huge hit! These foods are being consumed as if they were obsolete. Why? They're delicious, of course! Oh, and the barrels aren't those tiny, dinky little things, either. It's a great serving size and shape for your mouth. Even the supervisor has his fist in that jar, grabbing the "Dad's Root Beer Barrels" like they're his, and now I've gotten a promotion. Is it just a fluke? It's a coincidence, of course! For the past 20 years, I've been employed there! My promotion was long overdue, but that doesn't change the fact that these root beer barrels are delicious and have received no complaints in a factory where everyone has managed to complain about almost everything! br>br>So, if you're looking for a large quantity of root beer barrels at a reasonable price, you've come to the right place. You're not going to like them unless you ate wallpaper paste as a kid.

This wasn't supposed to happen in the first place
3/5

This candy is my absolute favorite! And while I usually enjoy the product, I was extremely disappointed this time! When I noticed the bag's label had faded, I knew something wasn't right. When I first take the bag out of the bag, I'm not sure what to expect I then noticed that approximately 30% of the candy was very discolored. as evidenced by the image. The ones that are discolored have an awful flavor! I did eat one on purpose, but it didn't take long for me to realize I had grabbed a bad one and put it in my mouth. Even the ones that appear to be fine seem to taste strange. br>br>All I can say is that I hope this never happens again. They should have noticed the bag wasn't quite right during the packing process, especially Sense!.

The flavor is strange and off
3/5

I'm concerned about the safety of the situation. I've been a long-time fan of Dad's rootbeer barrels, and have placed several bulk orders through Prime; however, I tried a new company because of a lower price, but the candy has a strange taste, and the packaging is larger and less appropriate for candy. I had a few extras from my previous order in a drawer, and the difference is noticeable. I attempted to return them, but I was told that this was not allowed. I recommend purchasing from a different company in case the flavoring is fake and dangerous. They have a menthol mothball flavor with a hint of citrus. I didn't think it was worth the risk, and I ended up losing money.

Some of them have a peculiarly bad flavor
3/5

I've bought two bags of these, and the one I'm currently using has the strange taste that others have complained about; anyone who claims otherwise is most likely a company employee. I'd say about 20% of them have a bad taste, and it only lasts for a few seconds before the flavor returns to normal. It could just be a poorly mixed ingredient, but it gives me a spicy burn that makes me want to skip Amazon and go straight to Dad's website to see if the flavor is any better. These are fantastic candies, and I've purchased many smaller bags from stores in the past and have never had this problem.

But it's very good
3/5

Good, reminds me of the ones I used to eat as a kid. However, the cost is exorbitant, as you are paying for the brand name. You're looking at a total cost of around $4. That brand name is worth $50 per pound. However, for around $1, you can get the exact same size and flavor without the fancy label in a variety of places. Each pound is worth $50. I just bought 4 pounds of them at my neighborhood Smart & Final. For $1 at the Final Store. 75 cents for every pound.

I didn't care for it because I couldn't detect any root beer flavor or anything that tasted like root beer
3/5

It left an unfavorable aftertaste. I couldn't finish them and threw away the majority of them, possibly because I got a bad batch or because of my personal taste expectations. I tried giving them to friends, but they didn't care for them. I was let down.

Dad, I'm working my way back to you! I promised you, Dad, that I would never taste anything else again
3/5

br>Then I noticed something odd: a cherry-like scent. With the last two orders, I really liked the flavor. What's going on in the candy factory. br> Root beer flavoring can't be hard to come by, can it, Dad? My heart is breaking because of you, Dad. Dad, please investigate who is at fault. br> I'll be waiting for you to make a change. Diane Conway, a fan of yours- Brown.

As stated in the advertisement

Because I couldn't find them anywhere else, I gave in and bought them here. Normally, I can get a different brand for a lot less money at my local store, but they were out for a few weeks. As a treat, I purchase them for my sister.
