This is horrible! We didn't have vintage candy that was from the correct era! The candy is specifically based on the year of my mother's birth, so I bought it for her 60th birthday. There were a lot of things you could buy at a dollar store that were candy. The value of this item is at most $10!.

Honestly, I feel the price is a bit much for not much stuff at 40 dollars. It was a gift for my dad, he enjoyed it and seeing some of the candy, most of it is readily available in stores, but he said he wished he could find more stuff that he couldn't. It wasn't as big as I expected, but I guess it is what it looks like in the picture. But I would like to applaud the shipping. I bought it less than a day ago, and I received it on Sunday! That's great! I live in Las Vegas, so it gets hotter than hell here so some of the candy melted a bit.

This was a completely unexpected reaction from the recipient of the gift because she is not a fan of sweets, but she was thrilled to see some old favorites A lot of memories came next! This was meant as a gag gift, but it turned out to be a big hit. I am sure many in my age group can relate to this. I really liked the presentation box, the graphics are great, and I really liked the gift. A worthy cause. This was a ton of fun, highly recommend it.

It was a gift for a 60th birthday and the party was a big hit. I was very impressed with how well packaged and how cool the retro candy was. My recommendation is to try it. The item caught my eye when I was looking for 60th Birthday decorations. Thank you so much for posting that. It was the perfect present for her.

This was great, according to him. if you just want the candy, you'll have to pay a steep price. You are not only paying for the candy, but also for your time. A box and the effort of others to gather all this information relevant to a specific group and package it for you is what you're paying for. Taking a minute to look at the box and reminiscing about what's inside was a pleasure. A few of the items were even forgotten about. It is a product I would buy.

"OMG, remember these? I had so much fun saying that. There was a lot of fun involved, whether it was Pop Rocks or candy cigarettes. What are all of these things made of? Since the candy must be at least 40 years old, it seemed that the box should smell musty. It was surprising to find that the dates on the candy were still If they just stamped it on them before putting them in the box, that would do. In those days, I do not recall candy having a freshness date. My overthinking is getting to me. A fun gift to give.

It is not something I would purchase again. The wrappers of taffy type candies were stuck with gum It was hard and stale to chew sugar gums This makes me so sad! I thought this box looked great, and it could have been a fun treat for a party. The cost was quite high!.

Boxed up all nice and neat! We are a vintage candy company. I was able to give my mother a perfect 60th birthday gift with this box! There were several types of delicious candies in the box It never ceased to amaze me how much candy was found in that box as my mom dug! The candy included in the package was a lot of what she had forgotten over the years (most of which, even being 27, I had never heard of before). Her childhood memories were evoked by many of the candies, and she was able to share some of them There was also a nifty "newspaper" printout of notable events and people from 1959 in the box. This was a welcome addition to the set. The box wrapping with the "Happy 60th Birthday" banner and vintage carnival/fair items was also a winner with us both - A type font and design are important. Vintage Candy Co. is an excellent company overall. In my opinion, this box was a wonderfully unique gift that was well worth the price, and I am looking forward to buying variations of this item for birthdays and other celebrations in the future.
