Some pecans are not pecans at all! A traditional pecan log is not what you want when you purchase these. They are knockoffs at an affordable price. There is a way to deceive the customer with these pecan logs. This item appears at first glance to be a traditional pecan log, sweet in the center with pecans covering the exterior. As a matter of fact It turns out that half of what looks like pecans is actually a cheap tasting candy that looks like pecans. The chips are the same size and color as the pecans, but they taste awful. There is no doubt that this is a way for manufacturers to lower costs. When I bit into one of these terribly manufactured pecan logs, I was immediately able to tell something was amiss. A pecan log I had never eaten before had a flavor and taste I had never experienced Upon closer examination I found that they were teeny tiny pieces of amber colored chips, dotted throughout the teeny tiny pieces of pecans. There are half pecans and half chips in this awfully tasting, being half pecan and half chip! I am in awe of how well you can DECEIVE your customers! I would like to return this product but they do not accept returns, so I am stuck with it. Could be the perfect Halloween candy. Maybe I will save them. It was disappointing to say the least. Amazon has not been providing me with very good service recently. This has always been the case (even before this current Coronavirus outbreak). Many of the items they are selling are items that don't sell through any other means. There are a lot of "seconds" to me.

This is what I bought for dinner at Thanksgiving We had to make baskets since we could not find pecan logs in our local area. Although I didn't want a CASE, it's about the same as a buck and a half to buy them in a CASE. The results are actually quite good. Because this was one of the most excellent logs I have smoked in a while, and they were very fresh, I think the price was more than justified. I was told that some people here felt the log needed more pecans, but in reality there were pecans throughout the entire log, just like I remember the old Stucky's logs from a long time ago. Then he oughtta be a log too!) It was the middle that we discussed that is the most important, and this brand did not disappoint. fluffy, just like I remember my grandmother being when she was younger. It is entirely too common for the filling, the middle, or the divinity to be sugary gritty. I am saving the few remaining logs for stockings for Christmas. They won't stay in the fridge until then if I don't eat them.

My family and I ordered these as a treat. The first log I tasted turned out to be really tasty so I ate it all. When I realized I wasn't going to share and that my family would never see these, I knew for sure I was never going to share. The next one is already lurking under my bed, and I am already fantasizing about eating it. Had I ordered two boxes, I would have had The secret stash goes to my family, and the family one goes to me. Since they're both under the bed, I'd probably find them under there if I had them.

I remember that they were his favorite and that they were easy to get when we traveled to Texas, his home state. It brings back memories of sitting out on the porch in the summer in the summer time, swinging on an old outdoor porch swing, eating one of these sandwiches and talking until late into the evening with him. When everyone else went to sleep at 9, he and I stayed up for a while After we got back to our regular home, I would keep a look out for these during the Christmas season, and if I came across any I would get him a dozen of these to share with the people he cares about. I always had a few with him when I came over from my house, watched a movie with him, and talked about our day with him. Since my father passed away in 1997, I think of him every time I see these Almond Logs. They are supposed to arrive after Christmas, so I waited until after 8 p. m. It was around 00pm, so I chose a movie that I knew he would love He fought for his life and I watched the movie as I ate my Almond Logs. I just thought about him as I watched the movie. I enjoyed it very much, because it tasted exactly like those Texas fried chickens I remember eating.

The idea of pecan logs appealed to me. I'm not talking about chocolate I'm talking about pecans on sweet centers. My only complaint is that I find the flavor a bit However, that is a matter of taste, so I do not have the right to criticize. As far as their state of arrival is concerned. There were no tears or rips in the packaging of the box. Each wrapper was separated by a hole in the plastic, but the hole did not extend to the individual wraps. My opinion is that they are a bit stale. I'm not sure if this is just my sense of taste's changing (in the last few weeks). Those will just go in the bowl for Halloween. In this year's elections, we will have a mixed bag. As a result, what I thought would be a nice stack will simply be used for Halloween & other occasions. The sweet side of my hunger has me going for a little bite.

In honor of the sweetest part of my childhood, my elementary school used to pimp us out with candy catalogs, then we would leave the school to sell the goodies on the street. Then I ate a pecan roll and thought that it was really good and there was a large and a small size. It was difficult to handle the smaller ones. When I bought these, they were smaller and I had to admit that at first they tasted not so good. After freezing one, it was hard to peel it back, and I had to treat them sour. Although after about eating the fifth one, I was like wow these are really good, so I guess I had to get used to them. At the end of the meal, I was like 'man I can't believe I ate them all, but it was definitely worth it. It was a nice, big, soft, fresh, long, roll with plenty of nuts inside, and I could taste the white, sweet yummy goodness coming from the center as soon as I bit into it.

The See's candy counter was too crowded during the holiday period, so I purchased these. Pecan logs made from this company are the best Therefore, I didn't expect such a high level of quality, so I was pleasantly surprised. In terms of the quality, these are just ok as the center was soft, but the pecans are just tiny tiny little bits (the shake has halves) that you can barely taste against the filling, which is very In this case, the center has more power than the nuts because there just aren't enough nuts, and the nugget has more sugar than it needs.
