I received my order in a very short time frame I received my order fairly quickly. The packaging of the product was excellent as well Quite a bit of padding was present. As far as I can tell, my box contained eight pieces. I agree with many others who have said that the bacon does not seem to have any special flavor The $35 price tag for this is definitely not worth it. Is $15 the best you can do? As for the bacon pieces, they are about 3 inches long perhaps 4 at best. I was expecting a full slice, so it was.
It probably would have been good if the Saxon had been crisp before it was dipped in chocolate. Prior to dipping in the chocolate, the waffle was not fully cooked or limp. This is disgusting. There was nothing to be found in it.
That is one big rip-off.
A big problem is that there is no real chocolate of any quality. I could not taste any flavor from the bacon. Since you get several broken pieces for the price, it is not worth the money. No fit for chocolate since it is wrapped in a plastic bag. Would have been nice if I had sent it back to you. I hate it.
Purchasing these for my husband for Valentine's Day was a fabulous purchase as the packaging was so nice. The cards themselves inside were perfect, they weren't damaged at all. Presented in an attractive package, these bacon strips are perfectly seasoned and covered with chocolate.
I have no problems with the taste. I think it's a little pricey, but I guess it's fine for a one-off.
There needs to be more bacon, and longer strips would be better.
