It's something I've never tried before, but I like it! I'd never had licorice toffees before, but I was craving some traditional British sweets

In San Francisco, there used to be a candy store, but the owner sold it to become a doctor. So there you have it. br>br>I came across these and decided to order them on the spur of the moment. AND IT WAS AMAZING. I had planned to set aside one bag for my mother-in-law. I left it on the kitchen table for my mother-in-law, who enjoys licorice, but she opened it and began eating it. Licorice is something that neither my mother nor I enjoy. However, it is sweet enough that we can eat it as a snack. My husband thought the combination would be terrible, but he claims that because it doesn't have a strong toffee flavor, it won't clash with the licorice, and we all agree. If you like toffees, this is something you should try!.

If you're looking for a way to remember Callard, Those impeccably wrapped diagonal silver and black little rectangles used to be one of my grandmother's favorites

They are missed by me. These, in comparison, appear to be a disaster and are a little harder to chew, but once I get started chewing, they soften up and transport me back to my grandmother.

The snacks are tasty and addictive (not really, but they appear to be at times). Walkers licorice toffee is much stiffer (harder to chew at first) but has the same great taste and finish as Callard and Bowser licorice toffee, which I used to buy back in the day. Walkers is a must-try for anyone who enjoys licorice. My guess is that you'll become addicted.

Too good with black licorice and toffee. In the world of sweets, there is simply no better combination. Toffee has always been a favorite of mine, and adding black licorice to it only makes it better.

Sweet but not to the point of being cloying. Simply pop a piece in your mouth and wait for it to dissolve slowly, and you'll feel as if you've consumed an entire dessert.
