The bread is a heavy flavored black bread these people may not like it if they don't like heavy breads. I was initially tempted to think it was licorice when I saw the black color and molasses scent. Please don't buy this if you do not like This summer I plan to make kvas and consume Okroshka as I also search for good breads to use for kvas. It's cold soup made from kvas. On a hot day, it is very refreshing. My local market does not ship this type of bread to the west coast, since I live in Nevada. was delivered quickly and smelled so good that I had to buy lunch meat and cheese so I could make wonderful sandwiches with it. Although my kvas was tasty and pleasantly reminiscent of mead, I would like to hear from someone who has a different opinion about the taste of the beverage. As a result, I will have to buy more bread because I ate most of it, gave a loaf to my neighbor, and only had one loaf to use for my kvas experiment.
The closest thing I could find to what we get in Russia, called Djita, was what I ordered for a themed table. As a matter of fact, a native born Russian/Ukrainian said it was the real thing. I would highly recommend it if you're hungry for a taste of 'black' bread. There is no need to worry about too much bread since it can be frozen.
The dough mixture has a lot of air bubbles.
Despite its sweetness, it is laced with a lot of illnesses.
Please accept my sincere thanks. Served with thinly sliced salo, it's excellent.
A very good job.
