Because each batch is baked and stored so carefully, you never need to worry about a specific batch, unless it comes from The best loaf I've ever had was always from a local bakery. There are, however, some who will not like it. This bread started out with rye flour and seeds, and now it is mostly made with whole grains without wheat, which means that it is naturally gluten-free. The combination of low fat, low sugar, and complex carbohydrates is ideal. The fiber is great. Granola or oatmeal are not as healthy as this. Almost a nut in texture, it is chewy and pairs well with butter, jam, cream cheese, avocado, ham, etc. Open-faced It is best eaten toasted. Having a sandwich with a side of fruit is a great idea. They provide a standing order at Amazon. I have tried all the varieties available there.

For over $9, you can get a 7" and a 4" tall. It is RIDICULOUS to charge by the loaf! I have no idea why that would be worth it. Then, when you cut them, they fall into small slivered pieces that need to be used only for a fondue or a communion.

Bread of this consistency has a very dense texture. While I am no slouch when it comes to eating, I have a hard time eating more than half a package at a time. Fortunately, opened packages last a long time in the refrigerator without losing any flavor.
