A cheesecake filling, or any other loose/liquid filling, should not be put in the shells too long before baking, as it may cause them to fall apart; however, they will cook faster than a recipe for a large tart or pie, so keep an eye on them. This was my first time using these shells, and I was pleasantly surprised by their flavor and capacity. They were my friends' favorite Christmas treat after I brushed them with an egg wash, baked them for a few minutes, filled them with a custard, and topped them with meringue. I will definitely purchase these again. The ideal graham shell for a variety of canapes from various cuisines.
The tiny pie crust in the photo for the product was deceiving, and it was overpriced. The product's photo made it appear to be the size of a regular Keebler's mini high crust, but it was actually the diameter of a quarter coin. If you have Barbie dolls or other types of dolls and a small child, the child can pretend to hold a pie in their hands. The flavor was very ordinary, and there was nothing about it that justified the exorbitant price.
These crusts had such high expectations from me! They're cute, but over half of them were broken and useless when they arrived. They also had a stale taste to them. I ended up using a mini muffin pan to make tiny crusts, which worked out much better. It's convenient that they don't make a mess when you pick them up, but I wouldn't buy them again.

While they were adorable and delicious, At 94 cents each, they were a bit pricey.
I made it myself, and the cookies were delicious, as well as being fresh when I received them. They were also very good and affordable.
I purchased these to use in making mini cheesecakes for my daughter's baby shower. They're brittle and flavorless. There was no need to use it.
