I agree! I'll be taking the same cookies as last year. They stopped selling them at Aldi's, so I searched online for Every aspect of the taste is the same! My order for a dozen of them will be ready in two to three months. This is my favorite cookie of all time!
My preferred method of chilling them is to let them warm up to room temperature. I can't wait to eat this cookie!
If you have not opened your cookies, we recommend you keep them at room temperature. Because there are no preservatives in our products, refrigeration aids in maintaining freshness once opened. When it comes to enjoying food, we always suggest that you enjoy the products by the expiration date.

While I knew it was unlikely that these would taste good, have the softness they promise, and arrive undamaged, I still dutifully ordered them. I like the taste, but not the smell. There is nothing special about it, and it is not texture is decent and not homemade, but there is nothing homemade about it. But, it is the issue of age and shipping that is causing the problem. As can be seen, there is no packaging on the package of cookies that was shipped to Amazon by the manufacturer. A pillow of air bubbles is the only item included in the box. The cookies are in trays or wrapping. There was no doubt that they were bashed around on their It was no surprise that Amazon shipped them to me in another box. Although the packaging was damaged when it was shipped to Amazon, it was evident that it had been damaged when shipped. Rather than shipping them in one box, the manufacturer should have put them in a second one. Even so, it's pretty obvious that these cookies could have been quite old already, how long they sat at Amazon before someone ordered them is anyone's guess. It was crumbly, full of broken pieces, and the box was full of crumbs and it was kind of chalky and dry. It's the chocolate chip ones that I like best. I found the oatmeal ones to be very dark, much darker than the picture, and while they were chewy, they were not all that fresh either. From the packaging, I may have assumed these were great cookies. However, they weren't well packaged or fresh and they did not taste like what they said they were.
There are some negative reviews here that I agree with. It has changed greatly with both flavor and texture since I have been eating them my whole life. It's not as easy to get big soft cookies as it used to be. This is the kind of cookie you will like if you like crumbly stale cookies. Additionally, the stale feel of the packet makes them crumble a bit in the package. Cookies from Matt are missing from my life. My hope is that they will go back to their original recipe. It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Matt.
Since I bought them recently, they were still fresh as Matt's is famous for being moist and chewy. I have eaten Matt's for 30 years, used to buy them when I lived in the Chicago area as well as when I lived in San Diego in the past. It appears that they were sitting in a hot warehouse for some time since they were crumbly and dry. Microwaving them for 15 seconds didn't do any good. It is uncertain whether I will buy again in the future. They are so much better when they are.
The cookies were part of a food basket we had while visiting family in Chicago. Thank you for allowing me to order online - I am very happy with the service! I received it two days later. I was not disappointed despite the fact that it looked fresh. We ate the ones straight out of the bag and they Before serving, I also microwaved some of the others for a few seconds If you are interested in trying it out, then go ahead I am completely blown away by how good this is.
Since I've been so disappointed for such a long time, I feel a little disappointed today. It is the only dessert I will consume lots of calories for chocolate chip cookies. Matt's Chocolate Chip Cookies were introduced to me when I visited my brother when I was growing up in the Midwest. In Chicago, there is a lot of law. My chocolate chippers were the perfect combination of everything I could have wished for in a snack. My tendency to look on- I don't know what motivated me to do so However, I have now found them on Amazon, after searching for them many years ago. But my memory of them was far from the way they looked. Even though they were stamped with an expiration date of "sell by November, 2021" (and this was July), the ones I received were anything but "soft. " You are "baked". The shoes were dry and almost chalky in appearance. Unlike Chips Ahoy, this dip doesn't taste dry at all! The same as Uncle Amos, but without the mud. As I remember him, Matt was just a few degrees above There was a bit too much sitting around in the warehouse for these guys. There are now four bags, and the thrill has gone away. So I guess I'll just have to wait until the next time I visit Chicago, and see if there's a Dominic's or another direct retailer I can purchase them from then.
It took too long to ship. Matthew's cookies were the first cookies I ever ate as a child. These are soft and chewy and are devoid of the chemical taste of Keebler Soft Batches. I ordered Matt's cookies from Amazon since I can't find them in Arizona. There were unfortunately only crumbs left behind. may be 2 to 4 cookies per package that have not been broken. Yet I don't come here to examine shipping issues. These cookies have been sent to me for review, so allow me to give you a brief evaluation. It is my opinion that they are the best cookie that a large cookie company offers. There is no butter used, only a blend of oil. Even though that might take away from the taste of homemade cookies, they are still worth the extra effort!.
No need to worry! This is NOT a chocolate chip cookie, but rather an oatmeal raisin cookie. You cannot get a refund for them. The case was not in the store, so I ordered the entire case online, but nope all the raisins are there. The garbage can just be thrown out as a way to eliminate it. I don't understand why people eat oatmeal with raisins.
They were not moist and tasty like you'd find them at a grocery store when I lived in Chicago and I didn't want to return them. I will not buy them online again. I bought them from the grocery store when I lived in Chicago and they were Considering I live in Denver, I would totally pay extra for airtight packaging if necessary. However, I did not see it as an.
