I purchased two of the original Tortuga rum cakes, each weighing 16 ounces. I just placed an order for a 32-ounce coconut version. It's a great value for money. br>I've noticed a lot of rum-related complaints. If you don't care for rum's flavor, don't buy it! Sheesh. I was reading in Tortugas about the total amount of alcohol in these cakes after baking is less than1% in the whole cake after baking is less than1% in the whole cake after% br>Eating a piece or three of this cake will not get you buzzed. Although there is a slight rum flavor, it does not overpower or take away from the buttery, creamy texture of this cake. This is theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee And if you don't like rum cake, don't order it rather than whining about the rum flavor in a RUM cake. They're fantastic. br> If you're looking for a good size for a family gathering or a special occasion, the 32oz is the way to go. YUM YUM YUM YUM YUM YUM YUM YUM YUM My husband will be overjoyed for Father's Day when the 32 Oz I ordered arrives, and he will be on cloud nine.

I enjoy fine rum, and the quality of the cake reflects this. It arrived early, and my mother and I were so excited that we ate a piece for breakfast because we couldn't wait. Then, for lunch, we had a slice with a scoop of ice cream on the side, as suggested on the flap. We just can't get enough lol We've tried three cakes so far: decadent chocolate, delectable banana, and pure luxury in the form of this coconut cake. So delicious, you'll lose yourself in the sweet aroma of the rum combined with the rich flavor of the cake! This coconut cake, like the others, is so addicting that I signed up for subscribe and save so that we could get a cake every month.

If you like rum, this is a great cake to try. I went with the larger 32oz size. I'm glad I did because they aren't particularly large and the coconut flavor isn't particularly strong. However, he's a rogue! br> I bought a pineapple-flavored one to give as a gift.

Soft, spongy, and delectable. For some reason, the 2pounder had a lot more rum in it than the 16 oz. A hearty slice of this delectable treat will undoubtedly give you a buzz. I'm a big fan of coconut rum.

In the last few months, I've ordered three of these cakes for special events. Because we're trying to limit our outings during covid, this is a great way to celebrate while staying at home! They arrive in perfect condition, on time, and in the mail. I wish they weren't so expensive; I'd buy one every week if they weren't so expensive. Flavor is delicious. It transports me to a new location without requiring me to leave my home.

Because I'd be tempted to buy several per month if I didn't. The 32 ounce bottle, despite being the "large" size, is quite small, but it has a fantastic flavor if you like rum.

Thankfully, it was a present for someone who appreciates it. I would suggest that you start with a smaller size and work your way up until you find your favorite, as there are many multipacks available. Enjoy.
