My only brand of pure leaf tea has never tasted off or bad, which is why I only buy it. I opened one this morning, took a big sip and then checked the label, and it did not taste like sweet tea it had There is nothing left to do! The case is over! As a result, I am extremely disappointed now, at the very least when I expected to not receive expired product from.
This is a good deal and I like this kind of stuff. It's good until Jan 15, 2019, but the expiration date indicates it's not valid after then. Has this ever made any sense to you? Why would Pure Leaf punish me for buying their product? The SUBSCRIPTION option allows you to purchase a maximum of 4 cases per month and there is no end date. Since I have bought this brand in store for more than a decade, I have been drinking it and enjoying it. I would say that these bottles have a slight sour taste rather than sweet, maybe about 5%. In my opinion, it would be better if I could receive 2 boxes, even if taped together, so the packages can be separated when they are brought into the house. Though I vary between this and another brand of sweet black tea, this one is very good. Both are excellent in my opinion. Sugar is added to this tea to make it sweet, so beware of the extra calories. Although the caffeine content in this tea is low when compared to coffee, it is a little higher in this brand than in another leading brand. If you're watching your caffeine intake, you might not choose this tea. As familiar to me as my mother or grandmother's sweet tea served with dinner every Sunday, this tea has the taste of old-fashioned sweet tea. When the air is hot and humid, especially in summer, I need a bottle of tea to feel refreshed, despite my preference for drinking water. As this is a fairly large bottle, you are getting a good price per unit. While I don't drink tea every day, whenever I do, I choose this brand or another leading bottled tea brand.
