Yes. There were six full boxes of tea bags on the table. I'm not sure what the math was, but there was enough that I gave three of the boxes to my mother-in-law.
Portland, Oregon is where I currently reside. This tea is available at all of the usual grocery stores (Safeway, for example). I buy in bulk online to save time and effort.
I've never seen it sold that way where I live, so write to Lipton's and ask if you can order it directly from them.
It's most likely a proprietary processing method, but it works and the tea is tasty.

Before buying some for my boyfriend, I drank it. The box is filled with a lot of "dust. " This appeared to be a source of consternation for him. Because I moved my teabags to a different storage container and don't recall the initial condition of the box, I'm not sure if that's normal or unusual. I'm curious if the dust is part of the product that allows it to be instant tea so quickly, similar to how some coffees are basically dehydrated crystals or something. Anyway, it tastes good and "brews" quickly, which is exactly what we were looking for when we purchased it.
The description, on the other hand, could use some improvement. People complained about finding tea leaves in the box or dust from the leaves in some of the reviews I read. They don't seem to grasp the concept of tea. My only gripe is that the description could be a little more descriptive. I looked through a few different items in search of the larger cold brew tea bags. When I placed my order, I was hoping these would be them. The tea has a wonderful, fresh flavor to it. I just wish I'd purchased the larger bags rather than having to use two at once.
In two months, I went through all six boxes. It's a step up from the knock-off. Ralphs has an off-brand that I like. I deducted a star because each box contained a large amount of dry tea; perhaps this is normal after being tossed around in a truck during delivery, but I felt like I was missing out on flavor because so much of the tea was in the box rather than the bag. I'd estimate it to be about a quarter of a bag spread out. Is it possible that I'm being overly critical?.
These are fantastic. I pour them into a large insulated water bottle already filled with ice cubes, and iced tea is ready in minutes. It is less cost effective than making a pitcher, but at these prices, it only costs about 15 cents or less for 24 to 32 ounces, which is significantly less than the premodern stuff in the store, and it tastes much better! The bags themselves are extremely durable. None of mine have broken in the six months that I've had them.
I keep promising myself that I'll make tea, but when the time comes, I don't, so I reach for a soda instead. Not any longer! I fill a couple of large jars with water, honey, and a tea bag and place them in my kitchen window so that I always have one on hand, and it's delicious. I realize that biking on water isn't exactly difficult, but on those lazy days when I just want something cold and sweet, this will suffice.
Using the label directions, I felt it was too weak. So, my wife tried it with four bags in a half gallon of water, and it turned out to be an excellent tea. br>br>I highly recommend this tea, and unless you prefer it weak, try it a little stronger. Even when you buy six boxes at a time, it's still a good deal!.
A half gallon of tea can be made for $0 by using one tea bag. Using two tea bags, you can make a darker tea for $0. A half gallon costs $40. Excellent taste. the ease of use It only takes 10 minutes to brew in cold water. It's not necessary to add lemon, but it improves the flavor. For brewing one cup of tea, these large tea bags will not work.
I used to use a large 1 gallon tea bag, brew in a dedicated Mr Coffee machine, then dilute and chill half of a 12 cup brew in two rubbermaid 2 quart pitchers with ice. I simply fill rubbermaid pitchers halfway with water, add two teabags, and place them in the refrigerator.
