Neither. It's made up of crystals of ginger and homney. By adding hot water to ginger, you can make ginger tea. There is no need for a sweetener. You can use the crystals in other teas you're steeping as well. It's a fantastic product, and I'd strongly suggest it. Depending on your preference for ginger, you can use the entire packet or less.

Is there actual ginger in this product or is it just flavored with ginger?

Only ginger and the most basic sweeteners are used. It has a strong ginger flavor and is delicious. I use half a packet on occasion.

In the order printed on each packet, here is a list of the ingredients: CANE SUGAR, GINGER, HONEY, GLYCEMIC ACID (? Basically, it appears to be ginger-based. sugar with a flavor Each serving contains about 4 teaspoons of sugar, which is 16 grams. This isn't a healthy amount, in my opinion. There is no mention of cane sugar in the product description, which I believe is misleading. The product description reminds me of a guy who made millions in the 1990s by preaching about the "rapture. " "br>br>Because I never drank it, I gave it a neutral 3 flavor rating. br>br>After contacting Amazon, I was informed that my money would be refunded.

I'm not pleased with myself

Ginger tea is one of my all-time favorite drinks. Because of the positive feedback, I decided to try this tea. The flavor is very similar to ginger. It has the same amount of "ginger" heat as fresh raw ginger. I gave it three stars because it contains cane sugar and glucose, which I find disappointing. I don't mind honey crystals, but I don't like the extra cane sugar and glucose, so a whole packet for a cup of tea is a no-no. With the tea packets, you're supposed to use the entire packet with 12 cups of water. At the very least, 16 ounces of water. So only use half of the tea packet, in my opinion. I'm not going to buy it again.

It was incredibly soothing to the throat, and ginger is extremely beneficial to your overall health and immune system! And they're so practical! I was able to make use of everything she had! She couldn't recall where she got it, so I went to Amazon, where I was overjoyed to discover this larger bag of 60 for such a low price! I believe the amount in each tea pouch is greater than what she had, so I'll be able to make a larger cup of tea! br>It's delicious with honey and cashew milk. br>I'm very pleased with my purchase and plan to drink at least one cup per day!.

There's a lot more "sugar drink" than "ginger drink" in this! I was looking for something to help soothe my throat, but despite the fact that it has a nice ginger flavor, the overwhelming flavor is sugar

It is really sickly sweet, and the packaging indicates that each packet contains 32% of the recommended daily amount of sugar. br>br>I'm still on the lookout for the perfect ginger tea.

A nice burn with a slight sweetness to it

Love the flavor and ginger spice burn, but the sugar content (roughly half a can of coke) is a little high. It would be nice if there was a version that wasn't sweetened.
