The leaf is good for your kidneys, while the root is good for prostate problems in men.
It's a tea that's been grown without the use of pesticides. For my seasonal allergies, it's a lifesaver. If you're looking for a stinging nettle tea, this is the one to go with.
I don't recall seeing St John's Wort in this particular tea, but I enjoy it and have ordered it for a few family members, including my sister, for whom I just ordered five boxes, as well as my cousin and daughter.
I checked the box, but there is no indication of how much nettle is in each tea bag. To get the answer you're looking for, you'll have to contact the company or consider opening the tea bag.

So, before making a purchase, I read through all of the reviews. I have to say that the most common complaint was about the taste. I can't drink or eat anything I don't like. I can't even take a teaspoon of cough medicine, so I'm very sensitive to taste, and this tea is AMAZING, DELICIOUS, and I can't believe it, but I drink it without sugar all the time. I'm fighting metastatic breast cancer, and I feel hydrated and energized after drinking this tea.
I was hesitant to buy because I had previously made nettle tea from wild nettles, which was extremely strong and bitter. This tea, however, does not have a particularly strong or bitter flavor. When it comes to tea, I'm a purist who prefers to drink it plain. It has a pleasant natural taste to it. I'm going to buy more.
Actually, this is quite good. It doesn't taste bitter to me, but it has a unique aroma. It has a tabasco-like aroma, but the tea is flavorless and husky. I've seen videos on You Tube that show how stinging nettle can help with a variety of ailments: anti- inflammable; iron, calcium, and potassium in tons; Allergies, prostate issues, PCOS, heavy periods, kidney problems, digestive issues, and so on can all benefit from this supplement. The extract, rather than the leaf, would probably be more beneficial to those with prostate issues. So far, it's assisting in the opening of one of my clogged nostrils. I'll continue to experiment with it because I enjoy it.
I developed seasonal allergies after many years on the planet. All of the typical signs and symptoms are present. My friend sought advice from a holistic healer. So here I am, sipping nettle tea. I'm glad I found out about it because it's really helped me. That fuzzy-headed sensation isn't as bad as it seems. Sinuses are no longer a problem.
I've had a chronic case of hives for a long time, and this tea has helped me keep the rash and itching at bay. It also tastes good, which is a pleasant surprise. It tastes like a good English tea, but it's a little milder. I use liquid Stevita Stevia as a sweetener. I've tried Alvita and Traditional Medicinals Nettle Teas, but this one is my favorite and appears to be the most effective.
I'd never had nettle tea before. I was looking for a nettle tea with anti-inflammatory properties and a few other advantages. It has an intriguing flavor (not one that I would describe as repulsive, but one that is on the bitter side). My daughter and I both have digestive issues from time to time, and we both found this to be helpful. She drank it when she was feeling bloated and found it to be very effective in calming her systems.
I bought this for my husband because I read that it could help him with his Gout. He couldn't drink it long enough to see if it helped in that regard because it had such a strong laxative effect on him that he couldn't keep drinking it. So I'm not sure if it works for that or if it affects everyone in the same way. However, if you're looking to cleanse your system, this might be the tea for you!.
It works well and does not have the unpleasant flavor of other nettle teas.
