So I purchased it with the intention of making my own boba. The instructions appear to be straightforward. I'm just disappointed that other flavors were listed but I wasn't given the option to purchase them instead (I. e. e I'm not a big fan of Earl Grey tea. I'm making this now, two weeks after I bought them, and I'm starting with matcha. Because there are no smaller size instructions, I'm going to make a huge batch. When I go to make the boba, it says to "stir for 10 seconds so it doesn't clump," and lo and behold, it clumps. and lo and behold, it clumps together like pizza dough. I'm still hoping and praying that it will magically separate, but I'm already frustrated with how expensive this kit was for such small portions of tea and only one batch of boba that appear to be ruined.
This is a wonderful present. My 18-year-old received this boba tea kit as a birthday present. It was a hit with him. He said it was a lot of fun and a lot of different. Because my wife enjoys bubble tea, I'm going to get another one for her birthday.
This is probably my fault, but it was in a list of bubble tea drinks on Amazon that were mostly make one when you feel like it, so I spent more time reading comments about how much people liked it than the fact that you have to make all 24 teas at once - the tapioca balls after hours of constant stirring It's cute, but I'm not sure when I'll get to try it because I need to wait for a party - when you're in lockdown Unless I want to waste them, I can't even try it. The packaging, on the other hand, is quite lovely. br>br>When I get a chance to try it, I'll post an update.
Making bubble tea at home is a lot of fun. We put it to the test the day we got it, and it was fantastic! The instructions are extremely simple and straightforward. I also appreciate the inclusion of black straws. I'm going to order another one for my sister's birthday because the packaging is so nice.
The money spent on this boba "kit" was not well spent. I wouldn't pat anything for it, to be honest. There aren't all of the flavors shown in the recipe photos. The boba pearls resemble cat food more than anything else. Even though I stirred continuously for 40 minutes after putting them in the boiling water, they mostly disintegrated and stuck together. It's either that these are old or that they're of poor quality. With the exception of the straws, everything was thrown away. This was a complete waste of money.
I personally think it should be included, but the ratio to Boba should be equal to the amount in the teabags. But that's just me. Last but not least, they should have packed a straw and put more thought and effort into what they were packaging. PS: Make sure you boil the water before adding the tapioca pearls because if you add them while the water is heating up, you'll end up with a mesh of dissolve tapioca, which isn't good. Also, if you're making your own syrup or brown sugar, make sure you buy some kind of syrup or brown sugar.
You get three bags of boba flavors for the price: Jasmine, Earl Gray Lavender, and Match, with each bag serving up to five people. The boba comes in a large bag, but if you're the only one drinking it and want more, order another boba packet because it can quickly run out! I tried all three flavors, but the jasmine boba milk tea is by far my favorite. br>However, if this is your first time making boba, don't worry; there are tiny pamphlet cards inside the ingredients that give specific instructions on how to cook the boba, boba sugar, and the drink itself with each flavor. They even have instructions for black milk tea and coconut vanilla matcha, but those flavors aren't included in the kit, so it's a little disappointing that you can't make those specific flavors. However, the three bags of tea that the kit DOES include are enough to experiment with new sugars and milk substitutes for up to three weeks of boba drinking. br>br>It's a very useful kit, and the packaging is very nice, so I believe it's well worth the money, especially if you want to throw a boba party with your friends.
We are fortunate to live close to this boba shop, but due to the pandemic, we haven't been able to visit it as often as we would like. We ordered it after seeing it on Instagram. My daughter is obsessed with all things Boba and was ecstatic to get her hands on one. We purchased additional boba balls as well as milk tea powder from Amazon. This kit, on the other hand, appeals to me because it contains everything I need. It's nice to have so many different flavors. The directions are simple and easy to follow for an older child. Making the drinks was a blast for her.
