Because only two of us in the house enjoy this drink, we decided to divide the recipe in half. For two large boba teas, that was the ideal amount. However, because these will go bad if not used within a day or two, we decided to divide the bag into 6ths (by weight measurement) and only cook what we need at a time to avoid the pearls going bad. Yes - It's a pain to make them each time, but it only takes about 35 minutes, so as long as you plan ahead, it'll be fine. br>br>Overall, I think this kit did a great job of providing quality ingredients and also teaching you how to properly make boba tea (we tried a powdered milk tea mix once and it was terrible). I'd like to purchase these boba pearls and teas in bulk, rather than as part of a kit. The pearls aren't like any other we've tried before - They had a slight sweet scent to them, as if they had been soaked in something before being dried. The jasmine tea was of exceptionally high quality - I haven't tried the others yet, but I am pleased with this kit's quality. This is a fantastic activity to do with your family or friends.

I was ecstatic to see a bubble tea recipe that I could make myself. The tapioca pearls were brown, hard, and starting to disintegrate in my hands when I went to make the drink. They clumped together when added to the drink. It had been a nightmare. The whole point of bubble tea is to enjoy the silky, delectable tapioca tea. Aside from that, it's just milky tea. A few days after receiving it, I attempted to return it. Returns are not permitted because the buyer refuses to accept them. When I contacted Amazon, they stood behind what they sold and promptly refunded my money, with no need for me to return it. It's a pity they have to bear the brunt of the loss because the seller is unable to provide quality merchandise. Thank you so much, Amazon.

I had no idea how much preparation and time this small kit would take. The box isn't nearly as large as I anticipated. As a result, the tea bags are quite small. They appear to make a lot of tea, but because the tapioca pearls are all packaged in one sealed bag, you must use them all at once or within a few days to avoid them going bad. I'm not sure why I'd want to make it all at once! This is definitely not a gift for beginners if you've never made bubble tea before. The tea is steeping while the pearls are being hydrated. It's all part of the process! I bought this as a gift for my adolescent, but she didn't want to spend the time to finish it, so it's still in the box from the holidays. I'm quite dissatisfied with the outcome. I'm not sure what it tastes like because we're saving it for when we have a large group of people over. We don't want to throw it away or let it go bad.

Tapioca balls were terrible! They were dried out and disgusting once submerged in the tea; the bubble tea did not work because they were so bad.

This is ideal as a gift for a boba fan! The packaging is adorable, and the tea is delicious. The boba that comes with it is the slow-cooking variety. It will take you about an hour to complete this task. The quick-cooking boba was purchased separately. I would recommend purchasing additional straws or reusable straws. I'd make another purchase.

This is an excellent product for a girls' night out. It serves 20 people and must be consumed within four hours of preparation. I wish it came in smaller packages, perhaps single or two-serving size. We had three flavors to choose from. All of them were delicious. When you add the half-and-half, they become even better. n half. Also, you'll need a lot of bowls, and I'm not sure how many times we had to make more sugar syrup. There should have been enough for all of the drinks in the recipe.

The taste is awful. It should have a more intense tea flavor, but it doesn't. It is preferable to purchase them from a boba tea shop.
