It doesn't have the same flavor. It used to be richer in flavor than it is now. I haven't bought Hawaiian Fruit Punch in years, and it has certainly changed since I last tried it. It now has a bad aftertaste, and when I looked up the ingredients, I discovered that it now contains Sucralose, an artificial sweetener.
Even when it came in cans, I used to enjoy Hawaiian Punch. It appeared to be much more potent and flavorful. They're using a different kind of sugar as well. I shouldn't be drinking this in the first place; I'm pre-menopausal. diabetic. What a longing I have for the good old days!.
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes yes, yes yes yes yes yes yes Less sugar and more chemicals are the key ingredients. But. I used to drink the original Hawaiian Punch when I was a kid. I'm familiar with how it should taste because I discovered sugar-free a few years ago. BLUE boxes with free packets of powered Hawaiian Punch. (Stay with me. ) These can be found in some grocery stores as well as on Amazon. And. Wait for it to happen. They're delicious! The BLUE boxes are the same size, have the same graphics, and are identical in every way. with the exception of the taste. yuk! What the? I couldn't drink them, so I gave them away and placed another order, this time paying closer attention. Yes, there are two companies that sell Hawaiian Punch, one that sells it in BLUE boxes and one that sells it in RED boxes. The packaging is identical except for the color. There is a distinction, to be sure. The product in the BLUE box is excellent. The RED box, on the other hand, is a different story. br>Now I'm thinking about these juice boxes. I figured the juice boxes would be more convenient while playing softball. However, it's possible that they aren't. They're awful. They've also got " 35 Calories per 6, 30mg sodium, 9g carbs, and 16 of daily sugars per 6. a box of 75 oz. " And they're a pain in the neck. This isn't just my take. br>I just placed a new order for the BLUE boxes after the remaining boxes were donated to a local food bank. Crossing my fingers! Take whatever you want from this. br>.
These don't have the same flavor as old-fashioned Hawaiian Punch. This was the first year that it was available in large cans. They have a sugary, nutrient-deficient taste to them. Sweet in flavor. If you enjoy that type of flavor, this is the dish for you. You will receive these. We don't think so; none of the 12 members of our family and friends who tried them thought they were particularly tasty. One person did say to me, "They aren't THAT bad!" Needless to say, we sent whatever was left over after a swallow-up. They brought bottles back to their house. It's just not the same taste, and it's even worse when a two-year-old says no thanks! Although there is nothing wrong with two-year-olds, the majority of them lack sophisticated palates. Uck!.
For my son's school lunch, I purchased these. He attends a special needs school that does not have a cafeteria, so he must bring his lunch from home. Nothing in the item description or on the box indicated that this was made in the style of a diet beverage with artificial sweetener. I would not have purchased it if I had known that. My son refuses to drink it because he thinks it tastes "yucky. " " I agree, so I'm not going to drink any iot. I've attempted to share it with a number of friends and family members. I'm afraid I won't be able to share this with anyone. If you're looking for a low-calorie beverage (35 calories per box), I'm sure it'll do the trick. I wasn't. I was looking for the classic Hawaiian Punch flavor that we're all familiar with. It would have been nice if they had told me this wasn't the same before the taste test, but what a sleight of hand. 😕.
It tasted like a diet drink because it was so watered down. Sucralose is present, to be sure. Beware! I suffer from migraines, and artificial sweeteners are one of my triggers! This should be on the label's front!.
They have a difficult time shipping. Despite the fact that air bags were packed in, the majority of mine broke during shipping. All of them exploded. My door rug and white counters were leaking from the box, which said In terms of the cost. . . It appears to be fantastic. In terms of taste, I found what I did save and try to be disgusting. Tart and inexpensive. "You need to see a dentist about those red teeth!" it screams.
I'd like to be able to see through the drink and know that it's not just sugar and dye; aside from that, my 8-year-old loves it and we keep it cold for her.
