I only use them for races when it's hot. On longer races, I take one before the half marathon and every 2 hours.
I'd look for a use-by date on the packaging. When you get the shipment, I'd also double-check each shot bottle. I contacted Amazon and received no response, as others have noted, because not all of the bottles I received contained pickle juice. I was unable to submit a review due to technical difficulties. I didn't get my money's worth, and no one seems interested in resolving the issue!
When you buy it will determine how much it costs.
I just looked at the ingredients on the box, and it doesn't have any yellow dye in it.

This is the third time I've bought this product for my husband, and this batch was the worst yet. To begin with, the bottles were squishy and not firm like previous orders, and the taste was awful. My husband couldn't drink because it made him sick, according to him. I contacted Amazon, and a replacement order is being sent to me. br>NOTE: THIS PAGE HAS BEEN UPDATED. The replacement order was delivered quickly, but it appears to be from the same bad batch as the first. The packaging was intact but all boxes had tape on them, the bottles were squishy rather than firm, and the taste was once again awful; my husband couldn't drink it because it made him sick. When I contacted Amazon, I was given a refund.
I had a refrigerator full of pickle jars with no juice left when I heard about pickle juice for leg cramps. I was overjoyed to discover this product because, even though I'm no longer on chemo, I still get leg cramps after lifting weights. As a result, the juice bottle is very useful. Relief right away! I'm not sure why, but it works.
The product itself is excellent, but the machine that caps your plastic bottles requires some tweaking. To unscrew the top, I needed two sets of pliers and a vice. This resulted in a significant loss of product, which is occurring more frequently than it has in the past, and I have been purchasing this for many years.
When it isn't damaged, this is a fantastic product. This is what my husband takes for severe leg cramps, which are a side effect of his chemotherapy. br>We decided to go with the 48-pack option. There are 12 per carton in each of the four cartons. We had no problems with the first two cartons we opened; however, the third carton was defective, and the majority of the contents would not open. We bought these for easy travel and storage, so it was painfully disappointing when he needed one at 4 a. m. and we weren't home to get another one. br>Amazon did end up refunding me, so that part is fine.
This product is fantastic for relieving leg cramps, restless legs, and foot pain caused by neuropathy. When you buy the 48 bottle pack, the price per unit is around $1. br>When I can't afford to buy pickle juice, I have to make do with the juice from grocery store pickle jars. br>These are much more convenient because I can keep a bottle on my nightstand and use it or not depending on the occasion.
They are recommended by my sister! She gets leg cramps in her back and takes one of these, and she swears it works! The flavor is pleasant; it resembles original dill pickle juice, not the Kosher variety, but the genuine dill pickle flavor. They did a good job making it because all of the ingredients are organic. The size is similar to that of a shot glass, making it ideal for on-the-go use. If you have heartburn or bleeding ulcers, start slowly and experiment with a small amount first.
During long rides on the bike, I sweat a lot and lose electrolytes, which helps me avoid cramps. I take it because I take a statin for cholesterol, and one of the most common side effects is leg cramps. br>br>On a 60-minute flight, I take one before and another 3/4 of the way through an 80-mile ride as a preventative measure, depending on how much I sweat or how hot it is during the summer. It always works, even when I'm drinking a sports drink (I use Skratch in my water bottles).
For cramped toes and feet, this works wonders. Simply drink one and the cramps will be gone in a matter of minutes! It's very effective. If you like pickles, the taste is also good, and it's just the right amount before the pickle flavor overwhelms you. We keep them on hand and buy them by the case because both my husband and I get cramps from time to time, mostly at night.
