Hi there! With our jerky assortments, we try to cater to a wide range of tastes, and while none of them are completely free of heat, the majority of the heat we provide isn't particularly hot. There are three pieces of jerky with a kick to them. The jerkies with Root Beer Habanero, Ghost Pepper, and Habanero are spicy but not overpowering. If your guy likes spicy food, these two bites should be no problem for him; if he's more of a mild guy, he'll still enjoy the tasty marinade, but the habanero and ghost pepper added to those bites will definitely heat things up for him. People who work for us at Man Crates who have a low tolerance for spicy foods have been able to persevere. If your man is a 0 on the spice scale, it's probably best to leave those pieces out. br>br>If you'd like, you can order any assortment you want and then let us know in a message. My son was completely taken aback when I told him that I had done something unexpected. law. I sell Avon, so I should be able to give him something from my company. This year, however, would be unique. I got him a Man Crates tie along with a variety of meat jerky snacks. Of course, he'll have to share with his wife and daughter (as I'm sure he will). For Father's Day, I made a gift for my father and a gift for my husband. The presentation in a tie box was a hit with both of them. The jerky was extremely tender and fresh. Because the samples are so small, I gave it three stars for price. Although I understand that jerky is costly, I believe the price was a little high. Still, it's a fantastic product that I'm glad I purchased! It arrived promptly and in excellent condition.
When I opened the Amazon package today to prepare it for Father's Day, I discovered that the "tie box" had been ripped in several places - The box is the main attraction of the present! Very disappointing, and the amount of jerky for the price was also disappointing, but I knew that going in! The amount, combined with the damaged box, stinks! There are no refunds - So let's hope he approves of the idea!.
I liked the idea of a meat package in the shape of a tie, but the jerky servings are TINY (about 1. 25 oz. ). 5 inches by 1 inch) and the flavors leaned toward too hot to eat (ghost pepper and habanero) and alcohol marinated (bourbon and whiskey), which my husband wouldn't eat, resulting in more than half of the jerky going to waste.
Despite the fact that this item is a little on the pricey side, I buy it for my husband every Christmas and he *adores* them. So, in my opinion, paying a little more for something that goes over so well is worthwhile.
