That seems to be the real deal. This was a great tool for making porridge, and it infused a lot of flavor into it. You will need to soak the dried scallops in water for two days If it is going to be added to porridge, soften it for 3 hours first. In my opinion, dried scallops from China are not worth buying, as it can be difficult to determine their quality through a website and a photograph. The best scallops to eat are those from Japan.
