It's rotten to the core. The smell is pungent. You won't smell anything like a cheesy pungent odor from it. This smell is more related to death, like sulphur. That seems to be a favorite among some people, but not me. As for me, I'll just stick to my favorite foods, such as fresh ham, smoked sausages, and.
Despite the pepper salami's decent size portion, the waygu beef (which was a tiny portion) and the salumi (which tasted absolutely horrible and was the largest portion), the salumi was not edible. Other than that, the other 2 were okay. There was a small portion of mozzarella (Pepperoni) and a large portion of chorizo (Chorizo). As salami people in my house, we have tried different kinds of salamis over the years and it was simply a waste of money. I am very dissatisfied with the service we receive. It is just the inner packaging that I did not like, which would be a problem if it was a gift. As illustrated in the picture, the present was encased in a clear plastic vacuum bag with sticker labels, rather than the butcher paper wrapping. I think it's less classy than that. So I probably had time to eat them before they expired, since they were still good for a couple months. Due to this reason, I guess I have no problem with the inner packaging.
