That's the way it is it's like spam. The soup is good enough for me to store it when the cupboards are empty, and you won't ever open a can of it and find that it's spoiled, even if you let it sit for, say, The stuff is kind of like that. Occasionally, when trying to open pull top cans, the tab will tear off as you are trying to open the can, and that is happening more and more these days because packaging is getting cheaper and cheaper. As a result, it will be necessary to use a can opener or a table knife to finish the task. I find it annoying from time to time, but it isn't a condition that prevents me from buying You should keep an eye out for this. This product has lost one star from a perfect score because the can makes me hesitant to recommend it. Armour is trying to mimic Hormel's Spam, and it does a good job of it. Although the directions on the can state to do so, I have never been successful in opening a can of this using only the pull tab. I have an opener that handles the can's corners with ease. Despite what the can says, I didn't need to use a can opener. Once I have lifted the already-attached tab, I will use the pull tab to lift it off The top has been released.
It is not the meat that is bad, but the packaging that is. A pack of 60+ cans won't fit in the box or are dented, 3 of which are open and are leaking. I have never experienced this issue with spam. It turned out to be a poor choice because I was trying to save a few dollars. At the time that I discovered the damage, I had already ordered another case. It would be great to get an INTACT case in the next case. This stuff is never going to come back into my wardrobe. Buy some SPAM if you have an extra couple of dollars. With SPAM, the quality is much higher.
Here in Alaska, spam is nowhere to be found online. It tastes amazing when you eat Armour lunch meat. had been anticipating it to be too salty like most Spam, but it was not. You can be sure I will be.
Compared to other cans of meat, this has a great taste and is not too salty to my taste. You can replace other canned meats with it easily and it is a must have for It is a reliable protein backup because it has great date codes.
There is more sodium in the can than what is shown. It is a pretty good flavor, except that it is a bit salty. Two of the 12 cans arrived dented one was definitely open at the pull-top. It was possible that the other breached there as well, so I had to evict both of them. In addition, the cans are marked as having 750 mg of sodium per 2 oz serving rather than the 510 mg shown in the Amazon product photos. The increase is a whopping 47%!.
