They were, regrettably, severely harmed

They appeared to have melted and rehardened after being sent as a Mother's Day gift. They were inedible because they were stuck to the plastic. Although Amazon refunded me, it did not assist the recipient who was missing her Godivas. br>However, our family enjoys these in better circumstances.

What is there not to like about this? Godiva chocolate is (at least in my opinion) the gold standard in chocolate

I gave these to a friend as a gift, and she was very pleased with them. If someone could send some to me, I'd be overjoyed. They were fresh, lovely, creamy, delicious, and decadent, to say the least.

The chocolates are much smaller, and the selection is less unique

Godiva gold ballotins have always been a gift from me. I prefer Swiss bittersweet chocolate, so I haven't bought myself a box of Godiva in a long time. I'm surprised at how small the individual chocolates are! I couldn't believe how much smaller it was. I was dissatisfied with the choices as well. What a letdown to find only plain dark, milk, and white chocolate squares in three squares. The rest of the chocolates reminded me of commercial candy, not deluxe Belgian chocolates.

In the midst of a scorching summer, the delivery takes place

The end result was fantastic. UPS did not deliver on time. "Out for delivery in Palmsprings early morning on the 8th," according to the package's description. It didn't arrive until after 7 p. m. On the 9th, it was 20 in the evening. To keep the product cool, the shipper included a big frozen gel pack. Unfortunately, that pack did not survive two days in a hot truck. In the box, most of the chocolates had melted. Despite this, the food was delicious. I did not request a refund because the shipper had done everything possible. We had a problem with UPS delivery.

There were no problems with the product, but it came in an absurd amount of packaging. I understand that they don't want them to melt, and I won't be purchasing perishables from Amazon in the future.

My wife enjoyed the chocolate, which was nicely packaged. They could've used a little more variety, but I'm sure I could've found it in another of their boxes.
