I've had "treats" from gas stations that were more interesting, appealing, and flavorful. Except for four, I threw them all away. Those weren't even worth the calories, let alone the $44 price tag.
I gave these as a gift, and the recipient called to complain about how awful they were! She had to throw away the brownies and cookies because they were too old and stale! It's no surprise that this business does not accept returns.
As you can see from the picture, I ordered two trays of Rocky Road Brownies in 2016 for only $30. I wanted to order it again, so I went to my 2016 orders and ordered it right from the page. It may be my fault for not paying attention, but I was so excited when my box arrived 10 minutes ago, even though the box was a little smaller than I remembered, and when I opened it, it was the Tin Box with individually wrapped assorted brownies. It cost almost $40 for 12 brownies! br>br>I understand I'm probably paying around $20 for the Tin box alone, but that's not what I ordered; why does the Rocky Road link in my Orders lead to this page; if you go back to the 2016 reviews on this page, you'll see reviews for the two rocky road trays; I don't appreciate trying to order something that costs $30 and then receiving less for almost $10 more; I don't appreciate trying to order something that costs $30 and then receiving less for almost $10 br>br> I'm going to keep what I have because my brother likes brownies in general, the Tin box is nice, and I should have at least one Rocky Road Brownie, or at the very least I should, but I'm extremely disappointed. I'm aware that you sell a 48-pack of Rocky Road Brownies for nearly $100, and I'm also aware that it has no reviews. That should be enough to persuade you to take action.
I was a little let down. I'd placed an order for a gathering I'd be attending. They crumbled into small pieces when I opened the packages to place them on a serving plate. I sampled a few of the dishes. All of them were dry and had an old taste to them. What a squandering of my hard-earned cash. Fortunately, I was able to replace the brownies with something I baked. If you place an order, make sure you have a backup plan in place.
Take a look at the image! It was disgusting to eat. It's possible that they gave me the wrong order. It tasted like a vanalla coconut cake. It had the flavor of something you'd get in a restaurant. On a scale of one to ten, I'd give it a six. Why did you only give it one star? It was great according to the reviews. The incorrect product was used, and it was no better than a Publix cake. Actually, it's gotten worse. I would have gotten choclate brownies instead of coconut vanilla if I had gone to Publix. I could have saved a lot of money if I had done so. Remove yourself from the situation.
1) The quality is excellent, as expected, despite the fact that they aren't particularly large (perhaps 3 inches by 1 inch). They're only 5 inches long, but they're incredibly fresh, chewy, and tasty. I can tell they baked these fresh and then aired them to me the next day to ensure I got them as soon as possible after baking. These are fantastic in general. 2) Excellent value. br>br> For about $2, you can get 16 pieces. Each piece costs $ 18. Considering what Davids has to pay for labor, construction, ingredients, and so on, this is a pretty good deal. br>br>3) For those who say they were dry and crumbly, I suspect you didn't follow the directions: "Because our products are perishable, they should be consumed within 48 hours of receipt or frozen for up to six months. " David's Cookies, Inc. is the name of the company that makes the cookies.
Brownies come in small packages. Moreover, the cake was delicious. I've given it as a gift numerous times but have never tried it myself. I finally got it, and I'm so disappointed that I gave it as a gift. not to mention the cost!.
br>THIS IS THE ONE AND ONLY PROBLEM: Because there was no way to attach a gift card to this, I had to write a note to everyone and tell them it was me. I'm not sure how to do that; perhaps someone will read this and add the gift card option; it appears to be fairly simple to do so.
