Questions & Answers

What are the benefits of pediolites?

Its purpose is to replenish or supplement electrolytes. It's particularly useful for dehydration, but it also helps with hangovers. I'm no doctor, but a packet of these dissolved in water with a couple of aspirin, Tylenol, or ibuprofen works wonders for a bad night's sleep.

Why haven't I received my package?

I'll contact Amazon customer service if you haven't received your item.

Is there any zinc in it?

Sucralose (Splenda) is used in this product
3/5

Pedialyte, both bottled and powdered, has long been a staple in our medicine cabinet, especially when our children were young. It's always helped us replace the salt, sugar, and water we've lost due to diarrhea or vomiting when one of us is sick with the flu or food poisoning. My previous packets had become stale, so I purchased this Pedialyte AdvancedCare, which contains probiotics (which help the digestive tract rebalance itself after an upset) as well as more magnesium than regular Pedialyte. As I read the box, I noticed that it also contains sucralose (Splenda), which makes me very unhappy. Fake sweeteners are unhealthy and potentially harmful, so we avoid them. It's not like a person who has been vomiting is keeping track of their calories! Why would anyone, especially if they're sick, want sucralose in a rehydrating product? This box is being returned, and I will not be purchasing it again.

It gets the job done, but there are some flaws
3/5

This product has the advantage of actually working. It will save me from a horrible hangover the next day if I drink a little too much alcohol. When I'm in a bad mood, I'll say something It really helps me hydrate when I exert myself. It also assists me when I am sick and require more fluids than usual. However, it does not taste good, which will be a deal breaker for many. Because it'll obviously be very salty, I've found that having it ice cold helps. The cost is also a disadvantage - I would give it a higher rating if the price were cut in half, but at the current price, it is unaffordable in the long run. run.

Leg cramps can be alleviated by using this product
5/5

Pedialyte keeps me hydrated better than any sports drink or water I've tried. When I'm hiking long distances, I keep it in my camelback, and when I'm cycling, I keep it in my water bottle. It prevents leg cramps and allows me to exercise for longer periods of time, which is especially beneficial on hot days. I was hesitant to try it at first, but a friend gave it to me when I was experiencing leg cramps, and I now take it with me on all long hikes and cycling trips. This is an excellent product.

Chemicals are used less frequently
5/5

Others are more flavorful. It has an orange flavor to it. when things are going well It's quite refreshing to be cold, especially when you've been overheated. I'm dehydrated and need to drink some water. It doesn't have the same unpleasant aftertaste as the liquid Pedialyte flavors. br>br>It's portable, comes in a sturdy package, and is simple to rehydrate—except when the powder-to-water ratio is too high, in which case undissolved powder will remain (due to a lack of water molecules to bind with). br>br>Another thing to keep in mind: This is a higher-potency version aimed at people who require more electrolytes, such as sugar. I'm not a big fan of salt. This is the only way I can get an orange flavor that I can tolerate better than the chemical-laden version. Others have been flavored actually like. br>br>However, when used as directed, it's far too sweet! And, when all is said and done, it has far too much salt for my diet, or for anyone's diet. br>I divide it roughly in thirds (using my fingers to pinch off the pkg at the level I want for a 12oz coffee mug's worth of water) and then freeze it. That's sweet enough for me. br>br>I've found that pinching it off with my fingers doesn't always work. Too much may elude you, so determining your ideal amount is essential. It would be preferable to use a measuring spoon. That is something I will have to do. I fold the top over a couple of times. )br>br> After I've used some, I'll secure it with a clothes pin.

It's a big hit with Grandpa! This was ordered for my grandfather, who has a long history of medical issues
5/5

He'd been drinking Gatorade nonstop, which contains less sugar and more electrolytes. I was worried that he wouldn't like the flavor because he's picky, but he raved about it, so I ordered three more boxes for him! I'm glad I can keep him healthy and hydrated, and he likes the drink, too!.

I keep pots on hand, and this is one of my go-to remedies when I'm having a bad day
5/5

It tastes like orange Gatorade, in my opinion! If you don't like orange flavors, try one of pedialyte's other flavors. Overall, it's a very efficient and practical system. Although it is a little pricey, no other electrolyte solution compares in terms of electrolyte concentration and price.

Rehydrate on the go with a good taste
5/5

I like this Pedialyte better than most others I've tried. It tastes like Tang orange drink to those of us who grew up with it. When I'm on the go, I simply pour the mixture into a water bottle, shake it up, and go.

Cycling enthusiasts will love it
4/5

This is fantastic for rehydrating yourself if you've become dehydrated. Because it is so light, I occasionally bring it with me when I go cycling. If I'm dehydrated, I can pour it into my water bottle for quick and effective hydration and recovery.
