Because our daughter has a milk protein allergy, we had to introduce this formula to her. I was hesitant to do so because she had been vomiting all day due to other formulas we had tried to supplement her with. There are a few things that people should be aware of:
1. Yes, this is a foul-smelling formula. This is because the proteins are hydrolyzed to make them tolerable for infants. She, on the other hand, appears unconcerned.
2. This isn't going to work right away. It is necessary to give the formula to the baby for at least two weeks in order to determine whether or not he or she will tolerate it. I expected this to be a quick fix, but it will take some time.
3. The poop of your child will have a distinct odor. The formula itself has a foul odor, and the baby's poop is even worse when it comes out. It's probably a good idea to become accustomed to it. I've been gagging for a few weeks and haven't stopped.
4. This formula is more expensive than standard formulas because it necessitates more effort to create. It is what it is, and there is nothing that can be done about it.
5. This formula completely changed my daughter's life. I now have a four-month-old who is content, happy, and laughing. I have no qualms about switching from breast milk to formula.

For babies who are lactose intolerant, this product is ideal. In just a few weeks, my daughter's eczema and rashes were gone! I'm very happy! It also makes poo stink bad, which is fine if you want to use your baby's feces as a weapon or a social deterrent.

This product does exactly what it says on the tin: Colic caused by protein sensitivities or mild allergies can be relieved with this product. It stinks awful, and the burps, pee, poop, and spit up it produces will knock you out with their foul odor. Also, while Amazon's subscribe and save option offers a better deal than anywhere else, this stuff will put even a middle-class family in financial distress. It makes the regular formula at full price seem like a steal. Nonetheless, it is reasonably priced when compared to other hypoallergenic formulas, none of which are.

I'm not sure if the two were connected. We bought this product for the first time on Amazon, and all we know is that the formula smells awful. It has a sharp, pungent odor to it. It's nothing like the others we've purchased. My baby contracted BATULISM, a rare bacteria, a few days later. Our 9-month-old daughter has been in intensive care for nearly two weeks.

I'd been using neuropro and then gentlease since she was born, but she'd go days without pooping before having very thick poops that made her cry. I did some research and determined that she might have a milk allergy, as gentlease is made with cow milk and is also high in iron, which causes the poop to be thick and dark green in color. Because she is also breastfeeding, I eliminated dairy from my diet, assuming that this was contributing to her stomach issues. When I asked the doctor if there was anything else I could use, he suggested nutramigen, and believe me when I say the difference was immediate. She began to poop on a regular basis, averaging one bowel movement per day. Twice a day is recommended. Her poop became much easier to pass, always soft, brown in color, and frequently speckled with breastmilk blobs. She no longer has gas or tummy issues, and she is a very happy baby. It takes some getting used to the smell of the formula, but if the baby isn't bothered, you shouldn't be. You only need to keep in mind that this is for them. I went cold turkey as well because I was desperate to assist her. She'd be squirming and fussing all night because she'd be so gassy. As a result, I'm unable to refrain from recommending it. Yes, it is extremely costly, but believe me when I say that it is well worth the investment!.
