Questions & Answers
Lactose, a simple sugar derived from milk, is the first ingredient. The following ingredients, which contain sugar, are skim milk and maltodextrin. Because the package says it contains ten, I'm guessing it's true. 8 g carb. based on a 5 oz. container The majority of the sugar (10g) in a diluted serving is sugar. My two-month-old loves this formula because it is generally easy to digest for babies. When we used similac, she was a little fussy and had a lot more gas. However, I am not a professional. This formula isn't as good as breast milk, but it's good enough for our baby. There is no cane sugar, white sugar, or corn syrup in this recipe.

Earth's Best Organic is not the best for the environment, so I'm giving it a one-star rating. I believe it is unethical to use Palm Oil as a primary ingredient. Organic at its Finest - Please don't use Palm Oil in any of your products! I understand that one negative review won't make a difference, but I feel compelled to speak out about this issue. br>br>Now that I've gotten off my soapbox, let me just say that we really liked this formula and started using it around 6 months. It's one of the few that uses Lactose instead of Corn Syrup (which is the most similar to human breast milk). It would be the ideal milk if they stopped using Palm Oil. In my opinion, this is a formula that is based on a formula. This formula reduced the frequency with which my LO spit up (which never bothered him). I had limited options (I didn't have the funds to import German goat's milk formula), so if I wanted an affordable organic lactose formula, I had to choose between a formula with palm oil or a version without palm oil - WHY! Anyway, all I had to do was choose which evil to support, and I chose palm oil. What options are available to you? It's not easy to stop feeling guilty when your options are limited (and I did extensive research on formulas).
We wanted to keep some of the supplementation going now that she's over a year old. I didn't read the ingredient list this time and discovered when I opened it that it has added cane sugar over 2010 ! Very disappointed with Earth's Best (not the best at all) and will not give it to my one-year-old. She should not have any processed sugar at such a young age, and especially not before bedtime.
When I contacted Earth's Best, they informed me that the organic option had been phased out and that the new one was not. I'm let down. My son has a dairy allergy, and there is currently no organic baby food available. Worse, the dairy formula continues to use organic soy, indicating that the company has access to organic soy; they simply do not care about the integrity of their soy formula. Customers, and in this case, babies, suffer as a result of this. The statement that it is free of prohibited pesticides has also been removed from the label! Why don't I just squirt Round Up in his mouth? In addition, the previous glucose syrup solids have been replaced by corn syrup solids. The entire formula appears to have been reduced in quality. It also lacks probiotics, which has always been a thorn in my side. Finally, this new formula costs ten dollars per can more than the previous one. With prices rising, who knows what formula will be jeopardized next. On the phone, they provided no justification or explanation. They are obviously only concerned with the bottom line dollar amount.
What I don't like about it is how high in sugar it is. When I purchase an organic product, I expect it to contain less sugar, making it a healthier choice. Because we know that obesity is on the rise, why not start making healthier foods for children at a young age, rather than having them keep track of their food intake in the coming year? br> If possible, please contact me at antonius_mihaela@yahoo. com to speak with a manufacturer representative about this matter. com.
Our three-month-old son enjoys this Gentle formula. We put him on Earth's Best Sensitive at first, but he was constipated and uncomfortable all the time. We then switched to a goat's milk-based formula, only to discover that he is goat's milk intolerant. As a result, we discovered this formula, which has proven to be a blessing in our lives. There will be no more constipation, fussiness, or discomfort after using this product.
Similac Soy, Enfamil Inspire, and Gentlease were the last "mainstream" brands to be phased out in favor of an organic option, which proved to be a huge success! Gentle gas decreased about a week after switching to EB, irritability subsided, BMs became more consistent, and his appetite increased, as did his sleep! He didn't arch his back at feedings, and he seemed to enjoy the taste of this formula, drinking up to 38 ounces per day! (Once in a while, even more!) Whoops! ) He evolved into a content eater and sleeper over time. And, after 9 months on this formula, our son went from being in the 15th/20th percentile for weight to being in the 65th/70th percentile, which we couldn't be more pleased with, especially since he was eating healthier ingredients. He's made the switch to whole milk without a hitch. Thank you so much, Earth's Finest!! We will be eternally grateful for your contributions to our son's life. br>Oh, and this formula worked perfectly in the Baby Brezza formula maker.
Very good ingredients, and much gentler on my baby's stomach than the Gerber Gentle we were using previously. Because both of my babies were preemies, they had a hard time digesting formula (but what could I do—NICU babies don't usually help their mothers produce milk: (As a result, I've had to rely on formula as a supplement). My first son handled the Gerber Gentle well and was content to just spit up all the time, but my second son spit up and had tummy issues, which resulted in a lot of crying and clenching of his tiny body. This switch from mostly whey protein to mostly lactose has greatly aided his digestion! He still spits up, but the painful gas and fussiness are gone! Don't be put off by the thick consistency of this formula. He digests it so well that he becomes hungry much sooner than he did with the other formula, so the thickness doesn't appear to be an issue. And by the time he spits up after a couple of hours, it's mostly saliva, indicating that the milk has been completely digested (if that makes sense). When they have trouble digesting food, milk can stay in their stomachs for up to two days. 3 hours after the last meal). As a result, the new formula proved to be extremely beneficial.
